Download and install the Weather Authority app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Weather Authority on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Weather Authority"
- The search will reveal the Weather Authority app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Weather Authority is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Weather Authority.
- Now enjoy Weather Authority on PC.

- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Weather Authority:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Weather Authority" » Click "Install" to install Weather Authority

Where ever we go

At the end of June 2018 our family to pay trip to New Orleans and Bette Davis was right there with us. We encountered some heavy rain and I was able to turn on my Local 10 app and see exactly where the rain was in where we were. Or use the app at home daily but it never occurred to meThat it will go where ever I go even out of state. Thanks local 10 team and thank you Betty Davis.

Always keeps me updated about the the app in the area that I am in. Tells me how certain parts of the day will be and to be prepared for all of them.
Overall it may seem like a lot of notifications but each one is very useful to keep you safe. Very happy with it and would give it more than 5 stars if possible.

I’m up early and so are they. They’re part of my family even though I don’t know them personally. I laugh and feel sad with them always.. Someone please tell Janice to be safe, I am really scared for her and all the others. God bless them all

Can’t share via Twitter & Facebook

While on the app, the user can not share the radar view (or anything that is within the app) to any other social media platforms. Can’t share the the app forecast to any other social media platforms. How can you promote the Local 10 “this app” brand when the user is unable to share any of the content to their other social media platforms? Check out other stations in the market and compare. Please provide a “fix”.
