Install Chess-Studio app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Chess-Studio on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Chess-Studio"
The search will reveal the Chess-Studio app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Chess-Studio is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Chess-Studio.
Now enjoy Chess-Studio on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Chess-Studio,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Chess-Studio" » then Click "Install".
- Chess-Studio will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Decent App with the Features that Players Need

This app has the best combination of features I've found so far. I love using it. And the developers seem attentive to making fixes. I've discovered a few problems: 1. I wish there was an easy way to add .pgn and .txt files to an existing database. Either allow the copy of some or all of the games so they may be pasted to a database, or better yet provide an "Add File to Database" function. 2. The app does not properly interpret braces or ellipses which contain comments or variations. Maybe the apps' pgn standard needs to be expanded because other pgn programs read these files correctly. 3. There are a few mispelled words such as "Reasearch" which is correctly spelled "Research", etc. Thanks!

five stars for this app and great thanks and respect to the developer giordano for including bluetooth keyboard functioning allowing users to go from one game in a database to the next by using the keyboard & also for turning the stockfish engine on/off with the keyboard shortcut. it makes using the ipad as a laptop when going through these games even more enjoyable. it was already a great app for reviewing chess games, but now it is by far the best for that purpose of all the apps that i've seen thus far in the app store. chess studio is to be highly recommended, and once again thanks to the developer for creating and upgrading the app for the latest iterations of ios!

It’s astonishing that for a such a simple task like viewing PGN games I was not able to find a good app in the store until I found this app, It is awesome you can easily go through books and games with analysis from grand masters, unlike most of the other chess apps this is updated for iPhone X, keep up the good work!
Confusing and disorganized

1. Can’t select all to download many databases at once 2. I would have liked to have been able to play out moves from the start, and see which games have been played with certain positions rather than having to individually look them up by name. Not super helpful although if you’re just looking to browse through thousands of random games with specific openings, it’s okay. 3. Annotations are not there in all the games like it shows in the picture. They need to be put in by the uploader
