Download and install the Apple Developer app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Apple Developer on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Apple Developer"
- The search will reveal the Apple Developer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Apple Developer is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Apple Developer.
- Now enjoy Apple Developer on PC.

To get Apple Developer on Windows 11, check if there's a native Apple Developer Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Apple Developer:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Apple Developer" » Click "Install" to install Apple Developer
- Apple Developer will now be available on your windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:
- Easy to use
- Can access WWDC content on multiple devices
- Can mark sessions as watched if attended in person
☹ Cons:
- Deleting downloaded videos is not intuitive
- Favorites view shows all favorites from previous years
- No playback speed control on iPad
- Bug where downloaded videos cannot be deleted
- Session titles are cut off on iPad
- Horizontal scroll and excessive use of glyphs make interface cluttered and less user-friendly.

Disappointing and has unacceptable bugs

Would give 0 stars if possible. There is no way on iPad to control playback speed. There are so many videos to watch developers need to be able to easily increase playback speed if desired. Tried downloading video hoping this would allow access to speed control. Still no controls for speed and worse yet there is a bug where you are not able to delete the downloaded video so it will take up large amount of space on device forever. These are basic things and it is unbelievable the app developers created this app and that these basic things don’t work. Very disappointed. Please at least provide a way to delete a downloaded video. Running iOS 12.3.1 on iPad Pro. Desktop version seems to have speed control but didn’t really want to watch the videos on Mac. Prefer to watch on iPad.

2018 Destroyed a good 2017 WWDC app

The new 2018 version of this WWDC app is about useless on my iPad. It violates many of the app’s own human interface rules!
First, none of the session titles are visible (they are cut off). Second, they now use that silly (unprofessional looking) horizontal scroll where there is full bleed on the right margin. It makes it harder for the user to feel they have situational awareness of what is on the screen. Third, it is cluttered now with glyphs — we have spent 3000 years advancing from hieroglyphics — they are nice to have in small doses, but not a screen full of dozens of them. We could go on, but the overall user experience is a huge step backward last year’s app. Now, I’ve lost a great library app for all the videos through WWDC 2017. The programming idiosyncrasies of the app programming libraries are shining through in a most unpleasant way. Wow, did not expect this for the flagship app.

Easy to use (mostly)

Overall this app is fairly easy to use and helpful for allowing us to access the WWDC content.
In response to an earlier review about not being able to delete downloaded videos, this is one area that could use some interface/usage help. Instead of the regular swipe left for a delete option (swiping left just lets you favorite a video or remove the favorite status), you have to visit the video and hold down on the “Downloaded” link to receive a delete option. This mechanic is slightly less intuitive than expected.

Better Every Year

The WWDC app gets better every year. It’s awesome that I can start a video on my iPhone, and finish it later on my iPad or the app TV. It’s also nice that I can mark a session as watched if I happen to have attended it in person.
One thing I wish would change, though, is the Favorites view. WWDC19 just ended, and I favorited all the sessions I want to watch, but when I go to Favorites, I have to scroll past all my favorites from 2016, 2017, and 2018. I don’t want to lose those favorites, but it would be nice to be able to see only my 2019 favorites.
Thanks for such a great app!
