Download and install the Familo: Find My Phone Locator app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Familo on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Familo"
- The search will reveal the Familo: Find My Phone Locator app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Familo is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Familo.

- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Familo:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Familo" » Click "Install" to install Familo: Find My Phone Locator
- Familo: Find My Phone Locator will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Improvements needed but otherwise a good app

Works as supposed to, however, when tracking someone, it only tracks for a seconds until you are required to tap the continue icon. I’d prefer it continually do the live tracking until their destination is reached, without having to tap anything more or at least have this as a option.

For the most part I can locate those in my group. It does seem certain members of the group frequently have to update their status.
Location timing is often delayed up to 10 minutes and in some areas is less precise than other areas.

It used to work but for the past couple of months it doesn’t work. It will try to locate my family members but without fail 100% of the time now says it can’t. When my family comes home it’ll send me a notification that they’ve arrived a few hours after the fact.
I upgraded to the full version hoping it would fix the issues but zero improvement so now I have buyers remorse to top it off. Considering it doesn’t show where anyone is once they leave the house, it’s pretty worthless. So disappointed.

I'm giving this app 4 stars hoping it will give me more options so I can do more. This is what others have said. But it's not very user friendly.
