1. A free version of "Pin the World" is available with a 5 PIN limit, or there are no limits if purchased (with in-app purchase).

2. You can search for PINS you’ve already added, edit them, move them or share them with other people.

3. "Pin the World" allows you to save your favourite places in the form of PINS on a map.

4. You can assign a star rating or even choose a personalised colour and category.

5. Press down on the map and add your PIN! You can choose a name, a description, a date or a photo.

6. You can get the road directions or copy the coordinates to use them with your preferred browser.

Disappointed

Can't drop more than 1 the app before being promoted to buy it. I dropped a the app in a city in Utah and ended up pinning it in Africa! Really?! Clearly kinks to work out. You can't expect people to consider buying an app if you can't even try it out.
Pin The World

Great app, but very seldom can I get past 40% GPS accuracy rate. I am traveling through Europe and have been able to the app every place with wifi, then move the the app to the correct location based on the satellite map (only maybe off by an inch or so). I like that I can change the color of the pins to categorize my locations (like lodging, restaurants, transportations, etc). And I like that I can add a picture to those locations and notes about the location. I only wish that when you tap the picture, it would open full-screen. I also would like to group my pins by each individual trip instead of making one trip of all pins. Other than that, this is the perfect travel app for me.

We are anxiously hoping you will add the ability to import a file that has been exported from one user using this app to another user. We have a need and desire to share pinned locations. Would you please consider adding the import capability. Thank you. We love the app and hope to use it for additional purposes with added functionality.
Just what I needed

This app is pretty much just what I have been looking for - a map to document all the neat places I've been to and hope to go to someday. It's great that you can assign categories, dates, and even notes and pictures to your pinned locations, and I really like the option to use standard, satellite or both maps together. Even though you have to pay $1.99 to be able to use more than one the app, I think the meager price is totally worth it. Two features I would suggest are 1. The ability to import saved locations from Google maps and 2. A simple walkthrough of all the features of the app, even though it's fairly easy to figure out. To sum it up, this is a very nice app to document your personal travels! Well worth the small cost of unlocking more pins.
