Fun but frustrating

I love the games. HoF graphics are great & games are realistic. Normal payouts are appropriate but I feel that jackpot hits are lacking. If people are buying coins for actual real $$, they expect to hit a fake $ jackpot more often. Also, the HoF Boulevard Bags are just a way to keep you playing! I don't think they ever actually allow anyone to win the prize for collecting all the items. I have had 159 out of 160 items for over a month. I have been playing every day for more hours than I like to admit, betting at least the appropriate amount for stars required, getting bags all along the way but that one elusive item never shows up. I am assuming it doesn't exist, which makes me feel like giving up playing this app because I feel like we are being duped! If you are going to have the feature, let people actually win it. It's not like you're paying out in REAL money, it's coins in a GAME HoF!! Take better care of your customers or they will go elsewhere for their entertainment. There are unlimited apps & games for us to choose from! I have had a few problems (glitches?) with the game. Both times I have contacted HoF the response time has been wonderful & problem seemed to get resolved. My only issue is that customer service doesn't seem to accept responsibility for issues and instead accuses customer of lacking knowledge of how game works. But, "miraculously" issue resolves, so whatever!
Increasingly aggravating

I'm getting fed up with ever increasing number of pop-ups, not only when I first open the app but also anytime I want to switch games. And suddenly today, when I try to open my bonus coin emails, I get the usual prompt to open the game (never mind it's already open) but that goes to the app store and prompts me again to open. I feel like I'm constantly dealing with extra windows/pop-ups instead of playing. Also the special longer term prize games should have an option to opt out. They also generate annoying pop-ups in the middle of games. I've noticed over time that the only way to win the prizes appears to involve purchasing expensive coin/spin/bonus packages. (I'm on a fixed income now and have too many other obligations.) And don't get me started on the pathetic silver/gold chests. I don't even waste my time opening them. I've also noticed that I seemed to win the larger jackpots more when I bet almost nothing. Ever since I started betting 50K or more, I can blow through millions and never see a rapid fire hit of 7 or more. Hint: when people don't believe there is hope of winning the special jackpot games, they tend to lose interest. I find myself with less and less interest in playing. At some point I'm going to just blow through my "money", uninstall, and go elsewhere.
If you're lucky enough to hit a big jackpot, like grand, don't expect to get it.

I've been playing HOF for years now and have literally spent thousands to play longer than 5 mins. I truly love the games and can say I'm addicted. Here's the biggest problem yet. I actually hit the grand jackpot of some 552,000,000 on Celestial Riches and was totally ecstatic that I had finally hit when the game set there for a second and then went to the payout screen and paid me the mini which was only 75,000. Needless to say I was shocked and mad at the same time. I immediately wrote to my host and told him what had happened and I get that what I saw was a glitch. Seriously? I couldn't believe my eyes. He says that happens sometimes and that he hopes we can put it behind us. Well I'm sure he can, but I've spent thousands and I get nothing because they have a glitch? They make way too much money off of idiots like me to not pay off when someone hits. It's not like it happens everyday. I suggest you find another game because this one is out to take your money and nothing more. The hosts are really nice as long as you're spending money. They're not there to help you, they are there to butter you up so you spend. You mean nothing to them. Bottom line just know that if you hit a big jackpot it will be a glitch.
So far So Fun

I have only been playing on HOF for a few days so far. As my title states... So Far, So fun. There are obviously some slots I have not cared for at all. Others that are just ok, and some that have been truly entertaining, and enjoyable. I do not have time invested in HOF like most of the reviewers do. So all I can truly tell you is above. And one more time So far, so good! I will update my review with more information when I have more time invested in this app. If you are just looking for entertainment HOF certainly provides that. I hope that when/if you give this app a try that you find it fun as well. All apps have their draw backs, and are not perfect. I truly hope HOF continues to be fun, and does not begin to be a huge disappointment like some apps. I’m not looking for perfection. I’m just looking for fun entertainment, and I hope it continues. A lot of apps start out great Then take a turn for the word, and become money sucking huge disappointments! I hope this app doesn’t do that. I’ll let you all know if it does, and also give you the timeframe in which it begins to happen. Have fun!
