  • Yup, it's good. One of the best

    By PhelineCat (Pcmac user)

This is really good. Really good. I use the native 7 Plus (should I get 11/Pro?), Moment, Hydra, Halide… for fun I use Calla, O2Cam, MellowRoom (I'm still figuring out how to edit filters for that one). I've bought HD because I was so happy with the free version. Sometimes my fingers hit the wrong little box and I get lost looking for my preferred way to use it and it's easier to close and restart. I guess I need to be more familiar with all the options, not just default. I've been confused about storage… as in, where? After many fiddlings I got it- toggled on looks like toggled off and toggled off like… you understand. In the meantime, those 300 photos stored in the app, what about them? They consume an impressive 1.3 GB while 10K photos in the native storage, 30 GB. There's no "delete all" and there's an extra need to affirm each deletion. Should I delete and reinstall? Probably. Once in awhile I've wanted to reinstall something, even one offloaded and it's gone from the store. Unlikely but… If I thought telling people what to do was ever appropriate (I flag reviews that say "don't waste your money/buy this thing" or "run out and buy this" because those aren't reviews) I'd almost… no, I couldn't. I'll say I love this app, it's great, I can get photos well past time I should have to pack it in so I have some amazing shadows, silhouettes (you can do silhouettes before the darkness you'd expect).
  • Well worth the money!!

After downloading the free version first, I was impressed with the possibilities of the app, so I purchased the full version. I took a picture in a totally dark room and after adjusting some settings, I did get a picture that showed the entire room. It wasn’t a totally clear picture, but you could tell what was what. Nice work design team!!
  • Complicated

    By George Orr (Pcmac user)

I actually can not say if this app is good or bad. I think this app is for a professional photographer who wants to use their iPhone for nightime pics. It certainly has controls and parameter settings that I would expect in a DSLR camera. But I am a everyday point and shoot man. This is way above me. There is way to much I would need to learn to understand this app. I just wanted a point and click app. But for someone who understands photography you should check this app out.
  • Not sure if this is better

    By Mixing44 (Pcmac user)

I bought the paid version because the ads in the free version made it too clunky to use. It's nice not to have the ads, but the paid version does not automatically put the photos in an album, which is very inconvenient. Also, I recently upgraded phones and I don't find that the the app photography is necessarily much better than what my built in camera can do.
