If you want to install and use the Tinder app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Tinder for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Tinder for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Tinder in the search bar and press Search. Click on Tinder application icon. A window of Tinder on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Tinder icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: Tinder for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Tinder for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

It works as it is supposed to, no issues come to mind. Matches work I guess. SuperLikes don’t make a difference in my opinion. I don’t like that you can match with someone and then un-match as soon as you do. I get if you aren’t interested or made a mistake, but I feel a lot of people just swipe right as fast as they can. So I constantly get notified I have a match but I check and no one is there, or someone liked me and I matched with them but when I go to send a message, they un-match and I get an error message. It’s kind of depressing when it happens every day. I put out on my profile things people would like to know and I have plenty of pictures, but eh. It’s whatever. Tinder places is kind of neat but I haven’t really experienced that except for when I go to this one place I know the girl who works there and really it just made things awkward. This app has a one-size-fits-all appeal that works for most in a certain demographic, so in that sense it is a great app. A real complaint I have is that underaged people use this app and lie about their age, nothing Tinder team can really do the verify but I personally really don’t like it. Advice for first time user: Please take the time to really get to know the person and don’t be afraid to ask anything. Like with everything in life, there are good and bad encounters, don’t get discouraged when dealing with the bad and blame the app.
  • Good app with annoying feature

Tinder is a great dating app! The like/dislike is super intuitive. Tapping the right of a photo to view additional profile photos before swiping left or right is brilliant. The messaging, the pay features of being able to see who likes you first and then deciding whether to like or dislike them, is wonderful! Most of the time I just search through who likes me already versus wasting my time swiping on everyone. Though I still swipe sometimes. The main reason for writing this review is to point out the blatantly obvious feature tinder has built into this app that is extremely annoying to me. And it has to do with push notifications. I don’t like my phone going off with notifications frequently, so I only have push notifications turned on for when someone sends me a message. And turned off for things such as when someone likes me, when a new match happens, message likes, super likes, and all the other stupid notifications I don’t want. The issue is when they’re mostly turned off, tinder will log you out of the app, for no apparent reason, and when you log back in, all push notifications will be turned back on. Yet, when I leave the notifications turned on, tinder will not log me out. I get that you want me to be notified more, so I think about tinder more often, thereby increasing my desire to spend more time on the app and ultimately make tinder more money, but that’s a very annoying way to do it. Please fix this.
  • Tinder discriminates! Used to be the BEST, but now it’s honestly the worst

Tinder used to annihilate the competition — so much so that I purchased the premium service numerous times, primarily to communicate my appreciation for their inclusiveness! As I wrote to their customer service department, not all of us fit into a “neat little box,” and Tinder used to not only understand that...they also supported it and encouraged diversity (even if some closed-minded members reported profiles). Suddenly, though, I have been outright banned from the app several times, for reasons that are ANYTHING but consistent among other users. I was told that some private messaging language between me and other members was “sexual” (umm, hello, it’s a HOOKUP app — so sexual discussions are status quo...and this is a big part of what makes Tinder so popular!) and that’s the reason I got banned. So I created a new profile, carefully avoided writing anything sexual, but guess what? Boom: banned again. And again. Ad nauseum. If users aren’t interested in a profile, all they have to do is swipe left; but there are many users I’ve connected with who ARE interested/intrigued, proving that there is a place on the app for profiles like mine. Make this right, Tinder! Stop discriminating and allow me (and many others) to once again enjoy the excitement of new interactions and connections.
  • Tinder plus is not at all as I thought 👎

When looking at what you’re capable of doing if you pick up tinder plus, the main attraction to me was how it said you would be capable of rewinding your left swipes. Therefore I assumed I would be able to go back through them in a list, somewhat like my matches page, but it’s everyone (including all the bots) I swiped left on. However that was not the case when I went to the rewind button 🙄😡 and in fact it doesn’t even work all the time - I’ll explain how. You can ONLY rewind the person you JUST swiped left on, nothing more. And not only that, but say you accidentally swipe left on someone then immediately get a phone call before you hit the rewind button. If you take the phone call, talk with whoever, then after hanging up go to send a few texts/msgs via whatever means, then do whatever else and return afterwards to tinder and remember that you meant to undo your left swipe. Most of the time the rewind button will be faded (unavailable) because since you temporarily left the app it will have completely forgotten the individual you accidentally swiped on, completely negating the purpose of the rewind button 🙄 The cherry on top of it all is that, yes, it’s $2.75 a month or whatever you agree to before taxes, however you pay for those months all at once! They don’t wait and charge you the small amount month by month like a real subscription fee 👎

Honestly, Tinder is a great place to go do some dating and hanging out, everybody is nice and chill. Once of the most exciting dating apps out there. Unfortunately there are a plethora of forums with people expressing that tinder banned their accounts for being reported even if no one has really matched with anyone or swiped right at all. This experience happened to myself and when emailing the help service, tinder basically told me that it’s my fault and they could not fix it, I also had no more than 10 matches. This infuriated me, and now my number is banned and I can no longer use such an app. All I’d recommend is if you use tinder, be warned that one day you may have your number banned for no such reason at all...

Whatever update they did pretty much requires you to live on the app or they just disable or “hide” your profile. Not to mention getting 500 notifications from them daily letting you know your top picks are ready. Not cool holding our profiles for ransom to get us on the app more often. Especially for the people taking it seriously.
  • Account Banned for NO reason

I had just created my tinder account, and I mean JUST created it. I added 3 selfies and one meme. I hadn’t even typed my bio out yet. And my account was banned. I had broken 0 terms and agreements. And tinder has not addressed or fixed the problem when I reached out to them.

Tinder literally just deleted all of my matches. I have no idea as to why this happened. Really frustrated, right now.

App constantly glitches, freezes, or shuts down; I’ve had it for under a week and I can’t count how many times it glitches, and I’ve had to restart my phone to unfreeze Tinder at least 5 times.

  • Repeats people Ive liked and disliked, but still good

I am seeing more people I have already said ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ to than I am seeing new people. That combined with my ‘Likes’ being capped makes this move a money grab. That being said, Ive had some good luck with girls here but man, have I met some crazies or people just lying about their profile.
