Lives Up To Its Name

I bought this on a whim and I have to say, despite the horribly bland title, the game itself is a creative and refreshing take on the endless runner genre.
You run through three looping variants of a sci-fi world (a utopia level, a steampunk/industrial level, and a Chinese inspired one), which all look gorgeous. There are several unique features as well, such as running on the walls and ceiling and spiraling tracks. While the character and upgrade prices seem high at first, once you get into a groove they are quite obtainable. The runners are all very unique and fun as well; you can tell a lot of heart went into making this game.
While a couple picture ads come up once in a while before or after a run, they aren't frequent and are not disruptive at all.
I only wish the game had more content!

A very good game with a blend of innovation with familiarity we all get from temple run. I never felt pressured to buy in-game currency or driven off by swarms of advertisments. I feel the maker of this game actually cares what the gamer thinks about the game as opposed to fattening their wallet as much as humanly possible. So it goes to show that this app is just that; the app. Well done.

While there's a lot to do already, it wouldn't hurt to have a few different obstacles to jump over instead of just one. Other than that, the game has incredible visuals!

GRAPHICS: 8/10
The graphics on this game are very good and sharp, but not Infinity Blade 2 sharp.
SOUND: 4/10
The sound in this game is defiantly not my favorite. The footsteps sound off key and you character saying "aye" every time he swings his sword is annoying too.
GAMEPLAY: 7/10
The gameplay is kind of like temple run, but not exactly. It is an endless run and jump game that makes you slide up to jump, lean your device to go side to side, swirl to run in loops, and swipe to the side to run on walls. But the controls don't always respond. For example, when you jump and try to jump directly after, the second jump will not happen. The game is very additive and you will keep wanting to get all the
upgrades and characters!
OVERALL REVIEW: 8/10
If your like run and jump games, you'll love this one! Even though the controls are sometimes unresponsive and the sounds are a little off and annoying, it's very fun and keeps you running all day.
