✔ Pros:

- Simple 2-D shoot-em-up gameplay reminiscent of classic arcade games like Xevious or Galaga

- Decent graphics and controls

- Provides 1 life up for every 8 levels completed

- App is a keeper for some users

☹ Cons:

- Lack of power-ups

- Gameplay is a bit lacking

- Ads on the bottom of the screen can be annoying and interrupt gameplay

- Screen shakes during certain parts of the game, which can make some users feel sick

- Music can become annoying and needs to be turned down

It's okay

Although it has the title "this app", it is not the this app you've grown up with. It's sort of similar in the setting. I went through eight levels because I was bored. There are no power ups. You get 1 life ups, but that's all I saw for the eight levels that I played. Game play is pretty easy. It's nothing exciting, but if this was the author's first game, then kudos to him/her. It's a great first start. Keep it up.
Reminiscent

While playing, I half-expected to see quarters rack up underneath the right corner of the screen as other video arcade junkies waited for their turn. Yeah, I just dated myself, but I miss simple 2-D shoot-em-ups like this (see Xevious or Galaga). It's a guarantee you could correlate the number of stars people rate this game directly to their age. I've DL'd my share of games out of the App Store. This is one of the few keepers. Enough talk already, I gotta get past Level 3.

While I can respect what the developer was trying to do, the execution of this app just isn't very good. The controls feel fine and the graphics are decent, bit the gameplay is a bit lacking. I've never been a huge fan of this type of game, so i imagine someone who really likes them would find something to appreciate here, but everyone else is probably better off skipping this one.
Nothing outstanding

Another shooter with a ship that shoots automatically. Ads are on the bottom which are annoying since it is easy to touch it and interrupts the game. Screen shakes for a few seconds on parts of the game which makes me feel sick, lucky for the ones who don't. Music can become annoying, I turned it all the way down.
