Useful App

I have not yet used all of the features of this program, but have converted my .the app files to .pdf and .png. It works very well with my 2012 iMac with 8gb RAM. The speed of conversion is awesome. The one problem I found is that in batch conversion the program will crash if the path is too long, so I needed to drag in folders with only one branch rather than those with a lot of sub folders and sub-sub folders. I believe this is due to a naming convention in OSX. Also, I found that not loading more than about 1000 pics at a time increased stability. Primarily I enjoy the drag and drop quick convert as I have quite a bit of clipart from over the years that I hadn't been able to use since the powerPC software quit being supported. Thanks, guys, for your efforts. Keep up the good work!
Satisfied my Needs

I’ve been looking for a way to convert the app files, leftover from my days using MS Windows on a PC, to JPEG files on my current Mac (Yosemite), which I much prefer. this app v3.3.7 satisfied my needs, which were modest. I had several dozen the app files in assorted folders. It was relatively straightforward to use the application without much stumbling around initially. I first tried just one file and it converted to JPEG quickly and as as far as I can tell, accurately. I then tried doing small groups of files having the same destination folder. All went smoothly until I tried a large number and encountered a fault (spinning wheel) and had to force quit the program. I reopened it and was able to continue without any problems. I completed the job in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend this program.
WMF Converter Pro -

This app successfully mass converted 3 folders filled with thousands of WMFs to jpegs. However it continually crashes now and doesn’t convert - loads up the folder but doesn’t give previews and crashes. Also acts like a zombie. Have deleted the app and re downloaded from the app store but it seems to remember where it was last and opens in the middle of loading in the previously seleected folder from before the crash and before the reinstallation of the app. Can’t give it a better rating until these bugs are fixed. As I said the first 3 mass conversions went flawlessly and now nothing works properly. Running on a new iMAC with 8gig ram, 3.2Ghz 4 core processor and running El Capitan.
Not ready for prime time

The app completely useless for me. Very disappointed. App crashed frequently. Enough to be a real problem. I needed the app mainly as a the app viewer and searcher utility for a large number of files and I cannot use it. The viewer function only shows my files in shades of red and black. Really wierd. I tried a shareware competitor and there is nothing wrong with my files. The mouseover image enlargement is spastic. It would not stay on the screen and only rarely worked at all. It also did the red and black thing. They really need to work on this version. I did not try any of the conversion functionality so I cannot comment on that.
