WeatherSentry® SmartPhone is a subscription-based app from DTN that provides business-grade lightning safety and other weather-related features for various organizations. It offers customizable lightning alerts, observed and forecast weather notifications, interactive weather maps, and access to accurate forecasts. The app is used by businesses, universities, sports teams, and public safety officials.

Download and install the WeatherSentry® Classic app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using WeatherSentry on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "WeatherSentry"
The search will reveal the WeatherSentry® Classic app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once WeatherSentry is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including WeatherSentry.
Now enjoy WeatherSentry on PC.

To get WeatherSentry on Windows 11, check if there's a native WeatherSentry Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing WeatherSentry:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "WeatherSentry" » Click "Install" to install WeatherSentry® Classic

Yep, you must give them your personal information to use this app. That means they are tracking company’s employees, can’t imagine who would find that kind of information of value. The company who is paying the employee? ...or a competitor??? Doesn’t matter how good they are, they have no more business with our personal information than the average “anonymous-user” app gleans on a daily basis. Deleted.

Lightning and weather alert maps and services are a dime-a-dozen, and are even becoming FREE. This service and charging for FREE information that is FREE from NOAA and NWS. I HAVE ZERO INTEREST in being charged for something I already paid to the government to provide, information that developers glean from other websites, repackage, and sell yet again - and other apps for FREE. That’s the OLD DAYS!
iPad app

If you are not aware of the level of this service and you spend a lot of time outdoors or supervise people outdoors I recommend you look into this company. They track every lightning strike in North America. This "app" is only a small piece of their technology. This is a service, yet not free is worth the cost if you are a company or corporation. Quite costly for an individual. To the company: please add an iPad app. I feel as if this was in the works years ago. Please add one. I pay a lot to have the service. Reward loyal customers with an app specific for the iPad and in the short term at least make the iPhone app viewable on the iPad with normal dimensions. My iPad running the iPhone app cuts off part of the top and left of the app for some reason. Summary: awesome service. Great iPhone app. Develop the iPad app like promised a long time ago
Outstanding Professional Product

In reading the previous reviews it appears the people not giving a high rating are people who do not subscribe to the PC version and they have no idea that this app is an adjunct to the PC version to assist those of us who are out on the field of play as a profession. This App is not for the person wanting to see what the weather is doing occasionally but for the use of Athletic Trainers, Stadium Supervisors, athletic event coordinators and people who have the interest of many people's safety out in public as a major concern. Thus the cost of the primary system is where the expense comes in and then the app allows you to be outside observing the event and what the weather is doing and not inside sitting at a desktop.
