Download and install the Cox App app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Cox App on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Cox App"
- The search will reveal the Cox App app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Cox App is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Cox App.
- Now enjoy Cox App on PC.

- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Cox App:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Cox App" » Click "Install" to install Cox App

New App With Less Features...Why bother

Once again the app completely redesigns an app only to either completely break all the features (the app Voiceverywhere), or in this case, I take away useful features that worked before. You can no longer access the tv listings and set a recording from the app. Basically the primary and only useful feature. The new chat feature is a joke as it’s just a Bot with extremely slow response and sent instructions on how to complete the recording function from the “old” app which doesn’t exist anymore.
How hard is this?! Why remove a great feature that worked fine? Why redesign what didn’t need redesigning?
I basically now have to the app apps (the app and the app Voiceverywhere) that serve no function anymore. I can look at my bill or data used in the app and that’s all it’s good for. Nothing works except forward with the the app Voiceverywhere app and it became useless upon release. It just astounds me a company would reverse engineer apps into useless memory taken up on your phone. I have this app 1 Star because I can’t give it a zero.

Not ready for prime time

The last version of the app was intuitive - the print size was bigger. — I haven’t seen the speed improvement u tout — and data usage files aren’t accessible yet? Coming soon? So why did Ya launch this ? It’s not ready for prime time and I’m not a beta tester — I pay for top tier product and this app isn’t IT :(( ** the previous app was superior for users interface in my opinion. **!Only plus is outtage notification in ur area , albeit the info isn’t detailed;what when where how long for instance

Fire the design guy

There was more function and design with the old app prior to this one. Felt like I had more control and actually had to confirm payment. Now it’s one click and 0 confirmation. In the older app you could do so much more. Why change it to something like a teenager building a website in 1992 using only html coding? I can’t even reboot my cable box anymore from the app (which is super necessary with the app). I’m surprised there isn’t a sprite of someone burning a dollar in the corners.

Terrible

If you have not done so, DO NOT UPDATE THIS APP. The new app is terrible. Not only did it take away remote program recording functionality, it is harder to use and is far less intuitive than the old app. Unless the app is going to revise the Contour app to allow remote program recording functionality, this revision is a regressive step that places the app behind its competitors in a significant way. Avoid upgrading to this new version until the app recognizes the flaws they have created.
