What is ARTE.tv? The ARTE app is a streaming platform that allows users to watch documentaries, reportages, magazine shows, and concerts on their mobile devices. The app is compatible with AirPlay and Chromecast, and offers new programs every week. Users can also download videos to watch offline and link up to their TV screens. The app is available in multiple languages and has a "MyARTE" space for users to save their favorite content.
1. In your “MyARTE” space you can continue watching videos from where you left off, select your favourites and add content to watch later.
2. With our download option you can now watch ARTE programmes offline.
3. Reportage, live concerts and more… Find what you want to watch by browsing our categories.
4. Watch your favourite ARTE shows whenever and wherever you want.
5. Documentaries, reportages, magazine shows and concerts, all on the ARTE app.
6. For legal reasons some of our programmes are only available in France and germany whereas others are only available in Europe.
7. New programmes every week: documentaries on social issues and engaging exposés.
8. Download videos by pressing the download button (before you go off grid).
9. Language - Choose your language by clicking on the cog on the bottom-right of the video player.
10. If you have a Chromecast key or Apple TV you can connect the ARTE app to your TV screen.
11. Your downloads are stored in your “MyARTE” space for 72 hours and are accessible abroad.
