Poor graphics and choppy movement ruin it however. 2.99 is WAY too much for this game especially considering how high the bar is with Reckless out now.

This is a beautiful 2-D overhead racing game. Track design is lengthy and excellent, and free-roam is way more fun than you'd think. Gameplay rewards those who know the proper race line, and use it to their advantage. Car unlocks and upgrades along with many available tracks give ZR a lot of value. Audio is a complete misfire. There is no tire squeal, the app crushing is anemic, the engine never changes rpm, and the generic power-pop soundtrack takes you completely out of the game's theme: destroying zombies while racing. Scrap the misplaced tunes and give us some proper audio production. It needs a bit of polish and some difficulty balancing, but ZR will fit the bill for those who think other games in the genre control too wildly and/or lack content. A fine start.
