  • extra sound is distracting

    By Ignatius_J_Reilly (Pcmac user)

The extra "ding" when the tens digit turns over is distracting and should be optional. Maybe it's useful for some purposes, but if you're just counting items, you want to focus on counting them and then look down at the display when you're done. No need to be reminded every ten items. The placement of the buttons seems to be driven by aesthetics rather than ergonomics. Most people are going to use their thumbs -- how about moving the + button to the right (or left) instead of having an uncomfortable reach to the middle of the screen. Check out "TallyCounter" for an example of better, more usable placement. I think a reset button on the front of the counter would be better than having to flip the thing over, choose which counter you're operating on, and reset it that way. It's kind of a roundabout process.
  • The Best

    By HightT (Pcmac user)

This is the best of its kind. I love it. Here are some things I would like to see: - Increments of whatever number is punched in would be nice. - Email the result. All sections or individually. - Instead of an add page button on the bottom left, you should just be able to pull the screen from right to left and automatically add a page. - Clicking on the bottom left button should show you all pages at once. - There should be a calendar button. Clicking on the brings up a calendar view, and clicking on a previous date shows the history of whatever count was made that day. - Manual time entry would be perfect. For example, a part of my job is to do hourly counts of visitors that enter the building between hour X and hour Y. The default date and time entry should stay as is but there should be a (Settings) button to turn on manual mode.
  • One of the most useful apps!

    By knign (Pcmac user)

This apps does everything you expect of it and more: you can create separate independent counters, customize them, it does not let you go below zero, and it never crashed, yet! Highly recommended!
  • Great little app!

By losing it in Florida (Pcmac user)

I DLd this app to use on my kids as a chip/point counter - ie chores, promptness, good behavior/bad behavior, etc. Each one gets a customizable screen with a running tally, plus and minus buttons. That's all. It does what I meed it to do.
