  • Pretty good except....

By My girl's dad (Pcmac user)

I was using this app to help my daughter with special needs study vocabulary, science, and social studies subjects. Creating the cards manually is pretty easy, my daughter sometimes does it herself. You can also create different types of tests like fill in the blank, and multiple choice. The biggest problem I am having is that when taking the multiple choice quiz, the app does not tell you if you got the answer right or wrong. It does give you a score after the quiz is completed, but I have not been able to understand what the number means, nor does it tell you which cards you got wrong. If you take the practice session you can see right away if you select the correct answer. Unfortunately the practice session does not give you a score. This method would be fine if I was using the app myself, but it makes it difficult to track my daughter's progress.
  • Fantastic App!

    By Teaching w/Tech (Pcmac user)

This application is wonderful. It allows you to make your own flash card decks. You may choose true/false, fill in the blank, image cards, etc . . . You may choose to use them on your device only or publish them for anyone. You can also download decks others have created if you are looking for a little time saving trick. If you are using them in a school setting it is extremely nice to make only one deck to publish and let everyone download them to be played by all students. Easy to use and is a great asset in my classroom!
  • Great App

    By SheriffDan316 (Pcmac user)

This app does things that I did not think I needed, but I can't live without it now. It includes a scratch pad next to the flash card, which is great when solving a math problem, but also great for science problems. The only thing I wish I was able to do is I wish I could draw on the flashcard while creating the cards. Sometimes I need to draw a diagram or something as a question, but the only way to do it is to draw it in another app, save it as an image and upload it to this flash card. Since the app has a scratch pad I know it could support drawing during the card creation process. Please add this feature!!! Otherwise, fantastic app.
  • The current version has a couple of very important omissions

    By Andre..._ (Pcmac user)

The current version has a couple of very important omissions: 1) Inability to save user created decks to a user’s computer. The only ability to upload to the app servers is not enough and not practical if a deck is created for a personal use. I am studying a new language and I add words to a deck every couple of days, but I cannot share my deck (from iPad) to my iPod. Would be good to have an ability to use iTunes file sharing or just e-mailing decks. 2) For the back of the cards (solution/answer) it is needed to have a possibility to add images also as the part of the solution/answer.
