If you want to install and use the SCRABBLE Premium for iPad app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use SCRABBLE Premium for iPad for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: SCRABBLE Premium for iPad for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type SCRABBLE Premium for iPad in the search bar and press Search. Click on SCRABBLE Premium for iPad application icon. A window of SCRABBLE Premium for iPad on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the SCRABBLE Premium for iPad icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: SCRABBLE Premium for iPad for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use SCRABBLE Premium for iPad for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • Nothing Close to the Original Game

A poor reproduction of the original. Don't buy it unless you have very low expectations. When playing a 12 turn game, there is no way to see how many turns remain! The dictionary mode should be optional, that way players could challenge each other's words forcing a player who lays down an invalid word to lose their turn. Currently a player can keep laying down tiles and rely on the game to tell them if the word is valid. This is an obvious deviation from the original rules. The dictionary window SHOULD CLEAR itself between player turns. Currently, when a player uses the dictionary, the next player can see the last word the previous player was looking up. This gives the current player some insight to the previous player's letters. This is a MAJOR FLAW! It would be nice if the dictionary showed the definition of words. It would be nice if the game saved scores by player name(s) as well as the actual screenshot of the final game. E.g., Greg vs Lillian: Greg won 23 games, Lillian won 35 games, etc. It would be nice if there was a way to save a picture of the board at the end of a game. If would be nice to have a feature to allow the player to undo their word. Occasionally, we've accidentally pressed play before laying down all the letters we wanted.
  • Customer Service Is NOT good/Product Flawed

This could be a great game but it is fraught with errors. Very frustrating. Every update introduces a new problem. It locks up, logs you out, shows letters from your last play even though they’re already on the board, misstates the number of tiles your opponent has left to name a few and the latest, has locked me out for days. EA said I had a security issue so a password reset was required. Now the email and/or password are being rejected. There are links to customer service but I’m convinced there’s nobody actually working there. Using the online portal you either get redirected to FAQs that are not helpful or to a chat line that never connects you to anyone. I see where others have the same problems but the EA responses are vague. I paid for the iPad version. My recommendation, go with the free version or play Words with Friends.
  • it's fine. lots of room for improvement in multiplayer.

Sure the interface is a little clunky, but it gets the job done… sort of. There's lots of room for improvement - especially with multiplayer. For me, the most obvious feature lacking is a way to do local multiplayer with multiple devices. Pass n Play doesn't cut it on an iPad when you and your opponent are sitting close together (think of sitting next to each other on an airplane). Internet-based multiplayer options also aren't enough (again, think of being on an airplane or other places without wifi/cell service). Better yet, why not allow one device to serve as a "host board" and other devices as "tile racks" for each player?
  • Can’t connect to server

Update: after a few days of being locked out (and thus losing all my in progress games) I was suddenly able to play online again. Until last night. The latest update seems to have knocked me out again. This is very frustrating! *********** After playing this game for 3 years, the latest version was working for a couple of days before giving me a ‘cannot connect to server’ message. I tried clearing the cache, deleting and reloading the app, pretty much everything. My opponents are forcing forfeit on me and I can’t access the game to play! Disastrous. And the EA help feature doesn’t seem to yield any assistance on the issue. It’s really a shame - in spite of occasional glitches I’d enjoyed playing it over the years.

  • The English dictionary is stuck on 2 letter words...

So it’s useless. Can it be fixed? I’ve tried reinstalling with no success.
  • Good luck adding new friends

You’d think it would be simple. You’d be wrong. There’s no simple button to add new EA friends from within the game. EA directs you to download the Origin client to a desktop where you can then add new friends. Wasted 20 mins trying to connect to play a game. Very frustrating.
  • Nasty mouthed players

How can a person report players who use the chat room to use the foulest language and still remain a viable player? Thought this was a respectful game...... so, how do you report these players?
  • Worst app now

Why on earth would I want to be promoted to post a scrabble play to Facebook. Omg
  • I really don't appreciate being charged twice.

I bought the premium version for my iPhone, and had to pay for it again for my iPad. Why do you charge for this app twice? To pay your employees to sort through the data you also harvest and sell? So unscrupulous.

I have made words that I know are in the Merrimam-Webster dictionary but the game says they aren’t in the “the dictionary”. Like tonight I made the word Eden which your game said wasn’t in the dictionary.i looked it up and it is the dictionary. I am playing the game today, 10/24/18. The computer made the word “oxic”. I looked it up in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and it’s not in there. How can you say you use an English Dictionary for words. You make up words and say they’re In the Scrabble Dictionary. That Dictionary must be filled with a lot of made up words. How strange, I went to the developer website and found that the developer is ea games. After going through all 21 pages there is no Scrabble game listed. No wonder I’m not getting any response to my reviews. There is a problem when a games lies about using a standard English dictionary when they don’t. If they did words like “oxic” wouldn’t be used and words like eden, which I’d a legitimate word, would be. Someone needs to look st the words before the computer uses them
  • On IPad 9.7 the screen rotate doesn’t work.

No matter what I do the game is always in portrait orientation. Also the dictionary is very lame. Since when is yoyo not a word? I should have stayed with the free version. $7.99 wasted!
  • Liked old version better!

New version doesn't allow playing others via wifi/Bluetooth, have to have an online account. Deleted from device - going back to original board game - shouldn't have to have an online account for paid version !!!
  • Difficulty getting app to launch

Each time there is an IOS upgrade, it’s very difficult to get the app to launch again. I have to delete the app, turn off the iPad and re-download. This last version, I had to do that routine FOUR TIMES before I could get the app to capture the data from my games. SO frustrating! But, I love playing Scrabble, so I put up with it.
  • Must use F***book or can’t play with friends

Utterly infuriating! Came back to this game after not playing for a couple years, and now you have to sign through FB or you literally can’t find your friends in order to play with them. I wasted a bunch of time tonight messing with this piece of s***ware.
