If you want to install and use the SCRABBLE Premium for iPad app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use SCRABBLE Premium for iPad for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: SCRABBLE Premium for iPad for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type SCRABBLE Premium for iPad in the search bar and press Search. Click on SCRABBLE Premium for iPad application icon. A window of SCRABBLE Premium for iPad on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the SCRABBLE Premium for iPad icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: SCRABBLE Premium for iPad for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use SCRABBLE Premium for iPad for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • Irritating New Feature

Overall I really like this app and have not experienced glitches described by some of the other reviewers. However, there is an irritating new feature that is hard to describe, but I will try. In the past I could place a word on the board without playing it and then go to the "dictionary" to verify spelling. Upon returning to the board my word would still be where I left it. YAY! However, following a recent update, when I place a word (without playing it) go to the dictionary and return to the board the game re-shows the last word played by the computer (with all the tiles falling into place followed by the score) and then all the tiles from my unplayed word rapidly leave the board and return to the tray. This is frustrating because I do not need or care to see a replay of the last word played by the game. Even more so and it's annoying to have to replace my tiles on the board in the exact same place.
  • Nothing Close to the Original Game

A poor reproduction of the original. Don't buy it unless you have very low expectations. When playing a 12 turn game, there is no way to see how many turns remain! The dictionary mode should be optional, that way players could challenge each other's words forcing a player who lays down an invalid word to lose their turn. Currently a player can keep laying down tiles and rely on the game to tell them if the word is valid. This is an obvious deviation from the original rules. The dictionary window SHOULD CLEAR itself between player turns. Currently, when a player uses the dictionary, the next player can see the last word the previous player was looking up. This gives the current player some insight to the previous player's letters. This is a MAJOR FLAW! It would be nice if the dictionary showed the definition of words. It would be nice if the game saved scores by player name(s) as well as the actual screenshot of the final game. E.g., Greg vs Lillian: Greg won 23 games, Lillian won 35 games, etc. It would be nice if there was a way to save a picture of the board at the end of a game. If would be nice to have a feature to allow the player to undo their word. Occasionally, we've accidentally pressed play before laying down all the letters we wanted.
  • Customer Service Is NOT good/Product Flawed

This could be a great game but it is fraught with errors. Very frustrating. Every update introduces a new problem. It locks up, logs you out, shows letters from your last play even though they’re already on the board, misstates the number of tiles your opponent has left to name a few and the latest, has locked me out for days. EA said I had a security issue so a password reset was required. Now the email and/or password are being rejected. There are links to customer service but I’m convinced there’s nobody actually working there. Using the online portal you either get redirected to FAQs that are not helpful or to a chat line that never connects you to anyone. I see where others have the same problems but the EA responses are vague. I paid for the iPad version. My recommendation, go with the free version or play Words with Friends.
  • it's fine. lots of room for improvement in multiplayer.

Sure the interface is a little clunky, but it gets the job done… sort of. There's lots of room for improvement - especially with multiplayer. For me, the most obvious feature lacking is a way to do local multiplayer with multiple devices. Pass n Play doesn't cut it on an iPad when you and your opponent are sitting close together (think of sitting next to each other on an airplane). Internet-based multiplayer options also aren't enough (again, think of being on an airplane or other places without wifi/cell service). Better yet, why not allow one device to serve as a "host board" and other devices as "tile racks" for each player?

  • Terrible app!

I had this App before and re-downloaded it. Said it was also for iPad but looked completely different. Top and bottom banners are tiny. There are no settings to turn off “teacher” mode nor choose your skill level. Frustrated.......

The computer continuously uses letters like opa & teins and gets to count them. It’s most irritating to play with one sided rules. Please update this game, single player version. Tonight it was acro it used as a word. It’s disgusting to try to win knowing this game allows the computer to put letters together in any way, word or not!

I can’t figure out how to start a game in a different language and the instructions and tutorials do not help at all.
  • Bad dictionary

I’m a long time scrabble player, and the dictionary in this game has crazy words no other non-scrabble dictionary has and that I have never HEARD of, and doesn’t have a lot of other words; i.e. “aralia,” which is a plant. C’mon, guys.... use a REAL dictionary!!
  • Weird

The peculiar thing about this app is the arbitrary nature of the dictionary. Which genus names are OK? Which obscure currencies are good? Why is this baroque religious item fine but this one not so? Skill in this game consists of memorizing this silly dictionary.

Please change the icons coming up when I go to move a letter up on the board. It’s extremely annoying and not needed

    1) I don’t like the small letters that come up with the dictionary 2) when I move a letter into a place, I get a screen with multiple games on it
  • Hate it

Hate this teacher thing popping up. Don’t like the best word option. Brought it down from I cloud and all this crap is on it. Just want to play I don’t care if there is a better word option

This Scrabble game regularly comes up with woods that aren’t in the new Webster dictionary. And regularly doesn’t recognize words that are. There’s no way to challenge either.
