  • I use this app more than any others

    By Taylor aue (Pcmac user)

Well worth it. Is it perfect? No. But picture yourself in the Kennedy reversible lanes at a standstill while all the local lanes are passing you by. Wouldn't you give at least $2 to change yiur fate? If this app saves you from this even once it is worth it. What i would change: I would love to have the option of selecting specific start and stop exits instead of having to look at a longer segment of road than i need. For example, I get on 90 at Madison and get off at central. I can instead tale 94 to Caldwell if 90 is too slow. Would be nice to customize both routes for accurate comparison. For now, I have to look at montrose to ohare or montrose to touhy (thanks for that add, def better than lake cook) and search for my exits and do my own average speed calculation in my head.
  • A Commuter Must Have!

    By Si11yDaddy (Pcmac user)

As a daily commuter, only travel times matter. Maps and cameras only give you sense of the traffic, but with app I know exactly how long it is before I get to work or home and how much longer it’s going to take. The auto update feature and audio notification features allow me to let the app run through out my commute and keep informed with only a glance. Glad they added more deatails for the routes.
  • Clunky, inflexible

I wish somebody would create a good Chicagoland traffic app. This isn't it. It's difficult to select you route. A reviser above, who presumably works for the software development company, spoke of setting an auto update function. This prompted me to look for it. If it exists, its well hidden. The only things I found that you can actually do with the software is select you route from a lengthy and cumbersome list and toggle back and forth between the screen that shows average speeds along the route and the screen that shows specific backup alerts. Not reommended.
  • Sweet!

Checking out the routes before I leave is awesome. Seems I always just missed the radio traffic reports. It's actually easy to use. Just hit info and then + to add routes. Slide to different routes to check times. Works for me.
