Download and install Yelp-Food & Services Around Me on your Laptop or Desktop computer

If you want to install and use the Yelp-Food & Services Around Me app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Yelp-Food & Services Around Me in the search bar and press Search. Click on Yelp-Food & Services Around Meapplication icon. A window of Yelp-Food & Services Around Me on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

  • Antoine’s what happened?

    by AntNola
This is our sixth trip to this beautiful city. We met some friends from Australia here and chose to spend our last night at Antoine’s and to celebrate a birthday. None of us had ever eaten at Antoine’s but of course have heard nothing but raves about it. The food was delicious from Appetizers to sides to desert, no complaints there. But the service was about 2 star. We sat at the table for quite awhile before we ever saw a waiter. When we did he was welcoming. Then it started going downhill. Between drinks and our food I have no idea where either of them went. We had to keep searching for them to bring spoons, coffee forks. My husband did pull the waiter aside and asked if there were some problems because the service was so bad. He replied no problems. Desert came out and waited at least ten minutes for our coffee, had to remind them, then missing one cup and that took awhile to get. Reminded the main waiter that we had a birthday and as we were getting up to leave he came over and handed her a bag. Before we came I had called and asked if the men came with no jackets was that okay? They said not required but encouraged. We watched table after table come in with shorts, t shirts, thong sandals. There were two employee standing at the Maitre’d stand and anytime I have been in a restaurant of this caliber they always will come over and check if there are any issues, not these two. So food 5 stars, ambience 5 stars, service 2 stars.
  • Very disappointed!

My family and I decided to come here because the food is amazing. We are new to town and have never eaten at this T.R. before. We were able to be seated within 2 minutes. But once we were seated things took a toll for the worst (FOR ME). I am currently 7.5 months pregnant and starving lol. The waitress took our order immediately and we proceeded to wait at least 40-45 min for our food to be served to us. Big Bummer. I ordered a steak and shrimp sirloin with a baked potato. I didn’t want “loaded” just butter and cheese. When my food came back it he bacon bits on my baked potato. I told the server that I do not consume pork, why does my potato have pork on it? By the way my potato has been contaminated with pork grease because they cook it in it, and now it’s touching my steak and shrimp. The server just wipes off the B.P and brings back the same plate thinking I will be ok with still eating contaminated pork food. Grrrrr. If you don’t eat pork don’t order a baked potato at ALL!! And if you want to wait almost an hour to eat then come to this T.R. I will NOT be returning to this Texas Roadhouse. It’s such a shame because their food is great, but this by far rubbed me ALL the way wrong.
  • Yelp review

Love yelp! It’s my go to app that helps me decide whether or not I want to check out a place or use a service. I am a huge foodie so whenever I want to venture out to a new place, I go right to yelp to check out the reviews and the stars. Anything under 3 stars I don’t bother with. I find that when most people take the time out to write reviews it’s because of one of two things, they either really loved it or really hated it. I’ve also worked in the food/customer service industry for a long time so I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to what is acceptable at a restaurant/customer service.. Yelp reviewers give the good, the bad and the plain old ugly and I appreciate the honesty. It helps me to chose where I spend my money and where I would waste it. I also love to write reviews so give others my honest opinion as well. Go yelp! I love your service. Thanks
  • Suffice it to say, I did not enjoy myself.

    by mHatchett
We waited for approximately 30 minutes for a table. After we were seated we waited another 20 minutes without having anyone get our orders for drinks. When we approached the staff they seemed uninterested in helping us. They just pointed out a woman across the room and told us she was our waitress. After approximately 30 minutes in the restaurant we got up and left. Nobody ever approached us to get our drink orders, to get us utensils, bring us hush puppies, or to even tell us someone would be with us soon. Nobody seemed to notice that we were leaving. The place was loud and filled with sweaty MAGA hat wearing deplorables laughing and yelling across the table from each other. I understand it is a family restaurant and not meant to be a fine dining experience, but the screaming and shrill laughing and people telling boring not funny stories for the whole restaurant to hear was too much. I felt like I was having a nightmare of being trapped in a 1980’s Molly Hatchet concert.
  • Yelp needs to change their rating systems

    by Dmattk89
Yelps rating system is overly simple. I keep finding ratings for good restaurants that people rave about the food and then knock off a few stars for things like location or decor causing a small business to take a ding in reputation. If you’re eating in your own city you likely already know a little about the location you’re going into however I do see the importance for some people knowing that they may not feel safe somewhere. Yelp should change this to a multi-tiered rating system where business are rated separately based on things like quality food, location, atmosphere, service. App users can be given the choice to view restaurants based on a set of standards that are important to them. If you want good food and don’t care where it’s located you should be able to see the places with 5 star food. Users could also be given the option to see and average score multiple aspects are important to them.
  • Cannot see full phone number

    by Rubenette
Yelp has 0 ways to contact them unless you want to report a specific business or are a business owner. Leaving this negative review is the only way I could think of to contact them about this issue. On some recent update they changed the layout on business pages where they put the phone number and a link to directions on the same line. This cuts off the last 5 digits of the phone number so you cannot see it. For phone users this isn't a problem because you can click and auto call, but for wifi or iPod users it just prevents us from getting the phone number in the app. Worse yet, the phone number is not included on the about page for businesses either which would be an easy fix! I now have to open yelp entries in Safari or google the business to get the phone number. This is really inconvenient and I'm considering deleting the app and just using the website, annoying!!!
  • One of my fav apps

    by Dolce9401
This is one of the best apps there is and it’s literally my go to regarding all services. For example nail salons, hairdressers, restaurants and other establishments that offer any type of service or product. It has probably saved me thousands of dollars at this point from avoiding places not recommended. I also have to say most of the reviewers are ON POINT. Whether you’re looking to buy a new car from a “shady dealership” or wanting to try out a new hipster place for lunch- check it out on Yelp first. People provide you literally everything from price points to savings and deals to dishes that are out of this world! If you’re looking for honest and upfront reviews of establishments in your area- this is the app for you!!
  • Bruh are you serious

    by Emilydo2006
Ok so yelp is actually terrible it's been scamming all these businesses and like come on yelp why you gotta be like that you want money we get it but why are you gonna trash businesses you aren't getting money by this anyways you are wasting your money to take them down but before you say that you are gonna get money see yelp makes businesses pay for promotions and for good ratings like why I don't get it also it's just terrible how people believe the things on this website like yelp just wants money but there are better ways of getting money besides trashing people also if you look at the reviews the people reviewing aren't even from the place the business is at like there will be a company in lockport Illinois and someone will review from California saying "I come here every week" like it doesn't make sense my theory is that its the employees reviewing and in the quotes of the dragon from Mulan DISHONOR ON YOU DISHONOR ON YOUR COW DISHONOR ON YOUR WHOLE FAMILY YELP... FOR SHAME!!!!!!!
  • Overall one of my most important apps when traveling

    by Fnord
I travel frequently and one of the hazards of frequent business travel is eating too many heavy meals, just because you don’t have time to find a place and get a look at the menu. Yelp makes it super easy to find a place that’s close, give you the menu, and let you check feedback from customers. Also important: tells you whether place is open or will be closing soon! I was mildly disappointed with the analog version of yelp offered in the recent update; I tried to order it for my previous boss, but they only deliver to loading docks that are open at 330am. Sounds a little sketchy to me. Need business-hour delivery of that 120,000-lb “gift”, yelp!
  • Map search is flawed

    by B K Traveling
Summary: Map search results on iPhone include areas outside of map boundaries. I have had the Yelp app on several phones over the years and and I’m familiar with the website. I had it on my iPhone 6+ in the past but deleted it to save space about a year ago. Since then I have used the mobile website. I finally got tired of the nag screens telling me to view my search results on the app so I reloaded the app. When I search using map results I get places that are relatively nearby but not on the map. Very irritating to me. If I wanted results from other places I’d move the map or resize it. To Yelp: Stop giving me search results I don’t want or need. I just remembered another irritating thing about this app. Every time you change the search terms it resets the filters instead of keeping the previous ones.
