Yelp, what a joke

I owned a restaurant and we had 4.5 to 4.75 rating on all other rating sites, except this app. On this app we had a 2.5. I went through the reviews and there were many that were 4 to 5 star reviews, but they were hidden on this app and not used in our rating. I contacted this app and they explained how these were not trustworthy reviews and that their system takes random reviews and creates our rating. Funny, there were two or three low reviews, they were all used, and /15-20 high reviews but only a few of those were used.
Here the best part. Soon after I contacted them, i started getting calls from this app sales people wanting me to buy ads. I explained my issue with their rating system and they told me that if I bought ads, those negative reviews could be eliminated and more of the positive reviews used so that our overall rating would be better. It’s a scam and no one will ever change my mind on this.
Just like Yahoo used to be. Yahoo advertised as this all knowing search engine, yet you had to pay to be on it, so it wasn’t search the web, it was searching its database. It’s just not honest. this app selects the reviews they use in the rating and if you pay them, they improve your rating. That too is just not honest. It’s a joke.

Big brain review time

To review a business is one thing, to review the business that reviews businesses, is a job for only the most seasoned yelpers. Joking aside, this app’s app is pretty tepid. They should be way better than they are for how much of a cornerstone web service they are. It’s impossible to get decent reviews and pictures to float up, no matter what kind of likes and recommendations things get. I still look at pictures of my local businesses, and it’s just a bunch of pictures from angry old moms of garbage cans and bad food and haircuts and crap. There are no pictures of the actual buildings or staff or services, and I’ve spent a lot of time trying to take better pictures for my local businesses, and write reviews, and not a single one has actually ended up popping up.
The app is also as glitchy as any app. I’ve had reviews vanish in the middle of writing them and crashes. Okay, yelps still a good service, but who is keeping this site up? A basement with a couple part-time computer science grads? Spend a little money, jeez.

If you’re business owner don’t cooperate with them!!!!

All the business owners don’t cooperate with this app. You can create business but don’t buy anything from them. This is very terrible a company. All they said, promised are lies. Don’t trust this app. This company is lier. All the want is money.
When you create a new business on this app. They will automatically contact you by selling their products. The fees are the highest I’ve ever see. And not reasonable charge. They charge every function on their app. Every functions on their app is more than $10. Also charge every click for $3 more. And the price of the click you pay is depends where you at. They also have many hidden charges. If you don’t check you bank account you’ll don’t know it forever.
They also hide all the good reviews. They want you buy good reviews from them. And pay for the remove fees to remove bad reviews. And these bad reviews are came from them. They have so many unreasonable charges. The statement they offer is not clear. They only sell products. They don’t solve any problems. They are like I already got the money. You can’t get any thing from me.

Beware Future Renters ****

I can honestly say I have never done a bad review on any company . I had signed up for a 3 month ADVANCE payment In other words , my bill was due for FUTURE storage, yet when the advancement was charged for the next three months , my credit card had expired. Therefore , the payment did not go thru . I was notified about the card , and did not want to leave a new credit card number , but left several messages for them to call me back to give the new number. When I finally did make contact , I was charged not only a late fee which I DO understand that , but also a “ lien fee “ even though my 3 months period had not even occurred yet . I would advise future customers to make sure they pay monthly , or you will be charged for future months that haven’t even happened yet . I would also suggest that Eagleville storage have professional courtesy, and check your clients notes and information and do not place liens in advance when the timeframe has not even passed . Perhaps , you need to not do advanced payments .
