1. It is designed to allow the user to train with a set of faces, with the goal of improving memory.

2. Currently, the app includes only Black male faces, but we hope to expand the stimulus set in the next release.

3. The primary use for this app is in the context of psychological research examining the effect of race on face recognition, but anyone is welcome to use it.

4. This app was built by a talented group of computer science students as part of their senior capstone.

5. The app includes 8 levels of training, with a set of perceptual and memory games at each level.

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using CU Face Race on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "CU Face Race"
The search will reveal the CU Face Race app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once CU Face Race is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including CU Face Race.
Now enjoy CU Face Race on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use CU Face Race,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "CU Face Race" » then Click "Install".
- CU Face Race will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
