Hello everyone reading this, you are probably downloading the game right now and reading reviews. This game is really, just, amazing, and you can do so much things. This game is full of possibilities, and it’s boot one of those games where you get very OP and then there’s nothing to do. This game basically has rebirths, and so you have to start over with new technologies as you get farther into the game. One thing I think developers should know is that when the “Free Rewards!” ad comes up, some people don’t want to watch the ad, but you can’t click off of it. I think developers should change that. Going through the reviews, I saw a lot of complaints about that. Other than that bug, the entire game is amazing!

This game...is absolutely amazing!! Sure you have to grind a lot...like multiple hours, and sometimes there’s absolutely no resources anywhere. But it’s amazing!! It’s so much fun to see this little raft you built become this amazing creation that could be A raft you love or hate. I love the designs of everything! The art and story is amazing! However, if the player doesn’t have enough gems to purchase the chests (which is normally all the way to half game) then it can get frustrating when you need resources fast and you just have to wait. It would be cool if the chests turn into a plank if you don’t spend gems on it, and maybe there could be more things for all of your crew to do instead of just standing around.

I thought you were going to move the raft around to explore the world, collect resources and search for survivors yourself, but no. Your raft stays in one one place throughout a level. Single pieces of wood float by that you collect to upgrade the raft (you complete the level after you’ve made all the upgrades) but upgrades cost a lot of wood, so you’re forced to open chests full of lots of wood that float by. The problem is that to open a chest you have to watch an ad or spend gems (you get gems by fishing) Gems run out quickly, so unless you’re super super patient and don’t mind waiting forever to collect enough of the single pieces of wood that float around, you’ll literally be watching an ad every minute or 2, and sometime several ads per minute in order to open the chests. The only time you move to another part of the world and find survivors is when you’ve completed the level. The game the. Takes your raft automatically to a new location (there’s no exploring on your own) And then, to ,ale things worse, when the new level starts, your back to a tiny little raft that you have to re-upgrade to complete the level. I can’t believe all the good reviews. This game is super boring. I made it to level 3 and then gave up out of boredom. This games only purpose seems to be to make you watch ads for other games.

Like many games in the App Store, this one has a cool concept and art style. If it were a pc game on Steam it could’ve been really cool! However its pretty much a case study of wasted game potential and predatory PTW tactics. So many no-brainer game design choices simply aren’t there; you can’t zoom out, so sometimes the ship you’re building is too large for the screen. No landscape view. You can’t select anything you build to see what they’re even doing for you, no stats, no information. Characters and animals are marked with what seem to be “Rare” and “Legendary” color schemes but it’s not clear what they even do for you other than exist. And the gems. You essentially can’t progress your building without treasure chests, and chests cost gems. You get many from achievements, but not nearly enough, especially since once/day your crew sleeps for a full hour or so of REAL TIME (with no way to wake them up) and the game is unplayable. What? Why? Lol. Your crew harvests wood continually, but in the later levels it will never net you enough to progress in any way, you will have to buy gems. It’s like the devs don’t actually want anyone to progress but just get caught in a loop of being forced to buy gems to build anything. Which of course is exactly what they want lol. Anyway. Sad really, another company that made a game with a cool concept that is essentially sucked of life and fun by being an app on the App Store. Hope this helps!
