I don’t think that it’s terrible, but it’s basically just for rap, as most of the beats seem to be, even the pop ones seem to start leaning towards more rap, which just isn’t my taste in music, also when I went over to the “beat maker” part, I expected it to be a variety of different instrument noises but it was basically just a bunch of gags and hahas, so nothing for serious stuff, also the filters were kind of wonky, especially since you couldn’t tell how much of an effect it would make until you fiddled with the settings and went over the sound again, which isn’t a super big problem in my opinion, I understand that it’s also a social app, but I did want to make an interesting song, but honestly I wasn’t given much to work with in terms of background, you had the pre-made beats, which there was quite a bit of variety of, but I couldn’t make my own beat, nor was there any seeming way to upload a beat unto it, which is a pretty big deal, when people hear “make a song” it makes you think of the lyrics AND melody, and it was unfortunate that I could only make the lyrics, which makes this more of a songwriting app than a song making app, I suppose it would be useful if you’re interested in rap or making lyrics, but honestly not much else TL;DR it’s aimed towards people who like rap, no way to make you own beat, and some of the controls are wonky and difficult to use

This app is amazing, please don’t be mistaken by the four stars. It gives users a tinder like interface that lets you swipe left/right to listen to new music (in a similar style to tiktok) and you can create your own music with so many different effects and backgrounds. I love love love this app! I recommend it to everyone and spend hours creating music on it. My only complaint is that the music recording and editing process could have a few more tools, like being able to pause during a recording, and then being able to chose the recording filters after you sang. I haven’t found a way to do that yet, so perhaps that’s in there and I’m missing it. Those features I mentioned would take this app from 4 stars to 100 stars! This app truly is sitting and waiting for it’s day to go viral. I can see this being one of the next big things in a few years. Definitely try it out for yourself and see!

The possibilities of collaborating with others and encouraging others is limitless… and it’s for everyone: people who have never written a song in their life to people who wanna make a living doing music. And if your song does well, it literally climbs the charts and gets a ton of listens. 5 stars!!!!!

Wohooo! It seems this app and I are soulmates! I was hoping for an app like this my entire life. I can’t believe I can finally make my own songs with my phone without learning any of these complicated music production tools. The filters make me actually sound good & hit a melody which I usually never do lol. 🤣 Thank you thank you!
