  • Forced PVP ruins it

    By KisaKaslana (Pcmac user)

It was a lot of fun while I played it. The story was entertaining, was fun to play, pretty easy to get used to playing with or without auto. Finally made it to the point where you could choose your factions, got forced into the one that my friends we NOT in. Best part was is couldn’t really do stuff with the people I’d been friends with because the system forced me into an unwanted faction. Couldn’t join their clan because of it. Yeah I probably sound whiny and should make new friends or something right? But after that is forced PVP missions in their ‘war zone’ for main quest. I couldn’t do it because I was being mobbed. So I dropped it. Overall the game wasn’t too bad and I just had a bad experience because of that one system. I’d recommend it if you’re a social person in MMO, if you’re a more solitary player I’d pass.
  • Stamina is an issue

    By StrafeG0D (Pcmac user)

Great game, even with auto play it has been an enjoyable first couple days of release.. However and I say this with a heavy heart, I’m level 84 my stamina lasts maybe an hour of gameplay even Turing it off only using it for major events... this is broken to me and I’ve never understood limiting a players dedication to a game. Once you fall below 70 stamina you cannot recover your depleted stamina, eventually hitting 0% and not able to gain exp/silver/items from leveling/fighting. This is extremely frustrating, as the reset time is 18 hours!!!! So enjoy an hour of this game a day...at higher levels unless you found a pet that helps decrease stamina usage. The other thing is with stamina, eventually you hit a pay wall so cleverly paired with monster level. The less stamina you have the less exp% you receive from questing monster slaying etc.. Early levels you will notice you have an advantage vs monster level, but around 80 you notice monster level increasing as you quest.. forcing you to stay upgraded with weapon enhancements. This monetization sets in, because you won’t be able to keep up with free drops and using just silver. Overall the game is nice, enjoyed the open world aspect and reminds me of Bless mobile a bit... but this stamina thing will agitate dedicated gamers like myself who want more from a game. It will push a lot of players away
  • First Impressions from a long time BnS player

    By Dfjjfgozdaughknkb (Pcmac user)

I'm an avid fan of the PC version of Blade and Soul. I've played through the whole game multiple times, enough that notice small start changes in the beginning of this new game. I don't think that's a bad thing at all, just an observation. The user interface is decently intuitive, albeit a bit cluttered. It's easy to move the character around, and combat is very easy to maneuver. I'm able to make progress in the story just as quickly, if not a little quicker, than in the PC game. The graphics of this game are better than I expected, but I was disappointed by the low level of character customization. As a long-time player of the pc game, I was a bit disappointed by some of the character redesigns I've seen so far. Most of the characters are at least reminiscent of their former selves, and many even seem to have the same voice actors, which is great! I have to admit I was disappointed by the redesigns of Dodan and Chengun, and their new voices. They're my favorite NPC's from the pc game, and I feel like Dodan's boyish charm and Chengun's comical servitude were really lost.
  • Some issues but great game

    By Green Rising (Pcmac user)

Intro: When I started this game I thought it was just going to be like the other mmorpg’s. But after some grinding on my main and unlocking most features I have started to really like the game. In my opinion it’s way better than most other rpg’s for mobile and it’s definitely have some thought into it. I don’t see why people are complaining bc it’s “pay to win” but I don’t see the point in buying crystals when I can just buy most of that stuff (EX: pet pod) usually large amounts just with silver. Nice things: auto play is nice. It’s always fun and epic to play the world boss. The cut scenes are nicely animated. The attacks are really nice, and I like what they did with The attacks being “nature themed” because most of the time theses Games have no attack or race Themes but there’s trees and nature everywhere! Bad things: stamina runs out very quickly. I don’t like the feature how if equipment enhancement fails you lose the ability to upgrade it. Pets Energy runs out quickly. Graphics could be improved a little. You can’t turn the audio down which is a problem for me since the audio is loud for no audio feature.
