DWD purchase doesn’t sync between devices?

Before I give the app review, I’m having an issue with syncing my DWD purchase between my iPhone and my iPad. I purchased DWD (and the app) on my iPhone, and then launched it on my iPad. However, while I have an Asmodee account which is synced on both devices, it’s requiring me to pay for DWD again on my iPad. Is the intent that we have to pay for DWD multiple times or is this the app bug? Follow-up: Unfortunately, my issue was never solved. While their team tried to help, it felt nominal at best. I paid for the game twice in the hopes of getting MoD as my way of investing in this game. Review: I’m sad to say that this version just isn’t as strong as the free version on the internet. Until they release the app bug-free game with Mother of Dragons, I believe the other free versions online are far superior to this paid version. The animations are nice, but I’d rather see the app much simpler and more strategic overview of the map rather than scrolling just to see what other players are doing. There is hardly any online presence, and it seems difficult to keep games in the app PBEM state for the app group of friends. I’m rooting for this team because I want to see MoD, but I’ve been disappointed so far.

UPDATE: v0.9.5 didn’t appear to fix much. 1st async multiplayer game got stuck trying to bid on Turn 2. Still the app 1-star release. Great single player experience, terrible and broken multiplayer. When it works, it’s awesome, and when it inevitably breaks, it’s super frustrating. My group of friends have yet to complete the app game because of the horrendous sync issues. Most turns involve restarting the app to fetch the latest updates. Or maybe it won’t fetch updates and you’ll just have 2 players stuck in combat with the game telling each player it’s the other’s turn, but nobody can actually take an action so the game just stops. Or maybe the AI bot won’t know how to break ties when bidding and kick everyone from the game. Or everyone will just be kicked out for no good reason at all. This game is yet another example of terrible software design practices where they ship the app product without proper testing, and use us, the paying players, as their QA. I don’t recommend buying until they release the app proper patch that fixes these unacceptable bugs.
Neat game, needs some bug fixes

This is the app fun game and the app good adaptation. However, I’ve run into the app few too many game breaking bugs to recommend it right now. The AI frequently freezes permanently, and the game doesn’t seem to tally up combat totals correctly. I’ve lost several combats where I had the app significant final strength advantage and the AI doesn’t play the app leader card. Should be worth another look after the app patch.

My friends and I live the original and we’re very excited to give this the app shot. We attempted 3 Asynchronous games, one with just the five of us and two games with the app bot to fill out the 6 houses. We couldn’t finish any of them. Eventually it bugs out so bad that we all get kicked from the game. We get to turn 2-3 and that’s as far as it goes. Maybe someday this game will work, but for now it’s not even worth the app free version, least of all dumping $10 on the app game that apparently never went through any type of QA testing. If I thought I could get the app refund I’d ask.
