  • Love It!

    By Plasma Punisher (Pcmac user)

My brother and I still simulate Madden 2003 seasons together (my all-time favorite football sim) and this is the closest thing i’ve found to it in app form. Really love how each player is assigned a value based on their age/skill/position combo. Makes trading waaaay easier as opposed to trying every combo hoping for an “accept”. Also dig how each player has a development speed. Couple things i would love to see in the next iteration: 1, Ability to sim through a season with a friend using the same phone (basically just add functionality to control multiple teams at once so that you can pass the phone back and forth). My brother and i would play this all the time if this was added (taking turns at signing the best free agents to keep things fair) 2. Ability to view all league players in a single table that is sortable by things like salary, age, overall, development speed. Would make finding trade targets way easier. 3. Ability to switch injuries off. I know they’re realistic but when you put a ton of time into crafting your team, it’s real frustrating to lose your best guy for the season. It’s hard enough winning without injuries and if no team has injuries, it’s all the same anyway minus the potential frustration. 4. Summary of your players’ progressions at the end if the season so you don’t have to tap into each one individually. 5. Option to not view a play by play of the game simulations. (One-tap simulation)
  • Additions for future Updates

    By gOdsmitty (Pcmac user)

1 major thing I found that should be changed is if I don’t have picks going to the draft and look to resign players because I have money left the game won’t let me by saying I need to save $15 mil for rookies if I do have picks that’s understandable but I traded them all away even future ones and still got the same response. Another thing is allowing teams to go past the cap room because at times teams in the NFL do go over the salary cap to get or resign players they want. Box Scores is another huge thing it makes it quicker than selecting each player individually. I love the trading system in the game the only thing needed to add to make it more interesting is the ability to do 3 team trades. Going deeper into coaching schemes could also help establish which teams offense or defense works better against others and adding more variety rather than everyone having the same offense and defense. Also add coach age, accolades, W-L records, and history to see who is more qualified for a job. Also a little thing could be assigning 3 offensive and 3 defensive captains to highlight key players on a team.
  • Amazing game

i would like to see season awards like MVP, DPOY, ROTY, etc because i have an 82 overall qb who threw for 5k yards and 48 touchdowns with only 9 ints but it doesn’t feel like that means anything special because there’s no celebration for it. it’d also be cool to see a total amount of the career stats that a current player is producing instead of only just the yearly production. winning the championship doesn’t feel special enough so if there was a little more glory to that moment like having headlines leading up to it and after or having them even throughout the season so the game doesn’t feel too plain and doesn’t get unexciting too quickly. all in all, this game is started off fantastically
  • Great start, much needed game type

    By fearandarrogance (Pcmac user)

One suggestion in addition to what others have posted: player contract valuations are too skewed. For example, I had a sim where a 28 year old 99-rated QB was left unsigned for years because he wanted too much money. That should never happen. The dollars demanded should better sync up with value provided; for example, you could take the best 53x32 players, subtract out cap holds for draft picks / those on rookie contracts, then allocate the remainder for salary demands based on skill level. That way l, as the mix of player skills at each position changes as players improve/decline, the salary demands adjust as well.
