✔ Pros:

- Offers a lot of diplomacy options, allowing for unions and world power through diplomatic means

☹ Cons:

- Controls on iPhone 10 are a bit wonky and could be better

- Audio errors, especially when loading, can be annoying

- AI quirk of random nations that are much less powerful than the player and don't even border the player declaring war for no reason is extremely annoying

- Game crashes and sometimes doesn't load provinces

- Bugs can be irritating and affect gameplay experience

Great game but bugs..

It’s a amazing game but please fix the bugs; game crashes, sometimes doesn’t load provinces, this weird sound that happens I think when it’s glitching? Idk. Also I’m trying to play to the “future” but I always get irritated and save and leave because of the bugs. please fix them but overall amazing game, I really enjoy it, and one of best strat mobile games out there. But 4 stars because of the bugs. 👌 Edit: If you can live through the crashes and other bugs it’s a amazing game and worth buying but save your game frequently so if it does crash, you don’t lose progress. To the maker: I think it would be cool if you could turn provinces into a country and make it a puppet state and you could name your colonies like the 13 colonies of America idk. Just some ideas

I was first shown the app of Civilizations around 4-5 years ago immediately falling in love. Unfortunately I had a iPhone so I would just play on my friends phone until I bought it through google and downloaded a emulator on my PC to play it. I couldn’t wait for the app of Civilizations 2 to come out I waited years from first hearing about the announcements and following his Twitter everyday looking for any screenshots he would show us. I found the game finally a few days ago and bought it immediately I was amazed at how much work he put into the second game, I can guarantee you this game wasn’t rushed. Some of the controls atleast for the IPhone 10 are a bit wonky and could be better. But overall it’s a great game, a lot more diplomacy then the first game allowing for unions and a world power through diplomatic means. I’m still in my first play through as Germany in WW 2 and my only complaint is peace deals atleast with the AI in them. Trying to carve up France was difficult with Italy as Italy although getting involved in the war wanted land far north of Italy in territory I controlled. I highly recommend this game to anyone and especially to people who like strategy games, and who played games like HOI 3-4.

I didn’t know a mobile historical strategic game was possible, but this game does a good job of filling that role. Managing your civilization’s economy is fun and war is simple but still engaging. My favorite part is you can be any country from any time, so I can go into modern times and have fun empire building. I’ve noticed some audio errors, especially when loading but they aren’t a big deal. Some notes for people who plan to buy this, downloading may not work immediately but It wasn’t too hard to download. PLEASE fix the AI quirk of random nations that are much less powerful than you and don’t even border you declaring war for no reason it is extremely annoying. One more thing I wish was in this game, I want to be able to disable the audio so I can listen to my own music while playing this game. You can make the Audio 0%, but it can’t be disabled. This game also crashes a lot, it would be nice if that could be reduced
Closest thing to Eu4 on iOS

Excellent graphics, music, and gameplay. The features are simple to grasp but difficult to master fully. Ai is quite smart, and many fun options are available completely for free: like political unions and custom vassals. The budget and ranking interfaces give great access to information and make thrashing your opponents much more satisfying as you watch their rank go lower and lower. Can handle vast database of nations and times, including multiplayer. The game has a few issues at the moment. The game is buggy and will crash about every hour, so auto save frequently. Also, the music and FX are glitchy so you may want to turn that off. There are many great directions for the game to go from its current state. For the current price, it is more than fair. I highly recommend.
