  • Great reference and help for students of the study

    By Dsk6789 (Pcmac user)

Thank you for making this app. I use it as the app student and I can reference things so quickly which helps me study more efficiently. I wish the search engine was the app bit more forgiving when it comes to looking up symptoms of specific organs and key words to help find the channel point I need. Maybe talk to Giovanni on getting an app. :)
  • A book requiring a login to open it every time

    By Eric Higashino (Pcmac user)

I am an owner of the previous app and been witnessing the fixes over the years on this new app. Knowledge is only as useful as you can access it and I have the app bad memory so I use apps and books. As the app UX designer and Chinese medicine student i bought this app as soon as I found it available. The single biggest issue I have is wasting time accessing information in the app. Let’s consider I am using it to reference some information and I open the app and encounter the app login screen then I have to wait so many seconds to get the app successful login to the server. Then I have to navigate to the previous section or task I was doing the last time. If you compare this to the app book that you have laid open on the app counter it is slower and less useful if you wanted the app quick reference. I would like to suggest the app few changes in order to address my pain points. # Enable caching of user authentication for at least the app month. If they open the app from the app closed state within that month send the app reauth in the background once the app day to make it so that month is now the app month since I last opened this app. Open me to the page I was last on too and scroll position. If I haven’t opened the app in the app month, open the app anyways, but try to login with my stored details and give me the limited version while you try to reauthenticate. Have the app notification at the top saying you are trying to reauthenticate and once you reauthenticate allow all the features again. One of your target markets is students, students study in libraries and libraries don’t have the best WiFi or cell reception. I was in the library studying and I couldn’t use my “textbook” because WiFi wouldn’t work and I was just referencing my “textbook” the app few hours ago and now I couldn’t, infuriating for something I spent the app lot of money on so I could not bring the app textbook around. I loved the previous app because you could access it as fast as the app book reliably. Due to your efforts to minimize piracy you are providing the app worse experience to paying customers. # Cache images, I am not sure why sometimes images take the app few seconds to load but it’s the same issue I have with the login issue. I never wait for the app point location to load on the app book when I turn the page. Please cache images and login authentication. I want to use this app in the app library with crappy WiFi. I think that is the app understandable use case. I have more issues to raise but these are the biggest as I deal with these almost every time I use the app. Please fix these so I can use this app in the app library with crappy WiFi and no cell reception, or I will have to put the app pirated version of the book on my iPad, which doesn’t have login or loading issues. Badly implemented DRM provides worse experience for the paying customers more so than pirates. I would love to work on this app with you to make it better. Good work ☺️
  • Upgrade of the decade

    By mehall7 (Pcmac user)

I have owned this app app since the day it was launched, and I have used it weekly, if not daily, ever since. This app has been my go to Acupuncture app for my clinical practice and clinical research because of its ease-of-use and detailed description, and my favorite part are the videos which is second to none of any other apps out there for acupuncture. I understand their need to upgrade their app to stay current with the updates of technology. I don’t mind at all paying for the upgrade since I have received my moneys worth years ago. The upgrade is user-friendly, works great on my iPad Pro , As well as on my Samsung galaxy note 9 and they are syncing beautifully. The videos are clear & crisp and they even have the app separate tab so you can go straight to them faster. You can add your own notes and the pro edition has the app very thorough reference section along with videos of the channels and collaterals and so much more. It took the app week for the glitches to get through but it was well worth the wait because of customer service staying on top of the issues. I suggest you upgrade to the pro version whether you are the app student or doctor. This app is back to being number one Acupuncture app on Apple and Google play store. Well done MOA team and thanks for your support to our profession.
  • Please Fix - Broke with last update!
