Good CL app, but what's changed?

This will be the last time that I repurchase a new version of the app. It's unclear to me what significant changed since the previous version. And unethical to pull the previous version, which I paid for, from the app store, forcing users to buy a new version with few improvements. It would be more transparent to go to a subscription model. Update 1: After more than a week, developer responded and disabled ads. Original review: I bit the bullet and downloaded the new version, purchased ad-free. I still see ads. Restore purchases doesn't work. Contacted support a week ago. No response.
The best Craigs list app out there and it isn't close

I got a new phone and could no longer get the the app app that worked so well for me, but this one works just as well, maybe even better. It gives you map view, you can search garage sales by date of sale, not date of posting etc. The others out there don't come close, I'll pay the $1.99, not because the ads bother me, but because this app is worth much more than that.

Incredible ability implementing ability. I have sold and bought many things on this site. No doubt some low blows in the haggling process can get ridiculous and slightly irritating, however it is expected. Everyone wants the best possible deal. Who cares. Want a great deal look around and do not rule out Craigslist. You get lucky sometimes. One persons lost is another persons gain. Thank you.
Hate color scheme, hate everything

I’m so sick of changing apps. This is the third time I’ve had to do this. Instead of just updating the old one they come out with a new one that’s worse. Now I have to find all my saved favorites AGAIN, and when there’s almost 300 it’s time consuming. And now I have to deal with this ugly bright orange or the crappy black. Light and dark mode...who needs this crap. Unfortunately I have no choice but to use this app, otherwise my accounts will not work. Oh and I had to pay AGAIN to remove the ads!! This is just a way to make money if you ask me! Now they added that stupid high lighted crap when searching!
