✔ Pros:

- The mix of locomotives from different countries doesn't seem authentic and should be improved.

- The game can be too needy and progress can be slow for those with busy lives, making it less enjoyable.

- The app is unstable and crashes frequently, making progress impossible in some cases. The developers initially responded but have since ignored the issue.

I just wanted to say thank you! I’m not your typical younger person who plays a lot of games but I am a the app buff and LOVE the incredible variety and detail of the various the app engines- somebody on your team obviously enjoys this too! Please keep or even grow this accuracy! It would be fun to have metadata for the trains to include real stats on them (tractive effort, driver diameter, top speed, firebox size, horsepower, etc) years of use, notable events or stories, etc. I have had the occasional glitch where I don’t receive a new container and it seems to time out, and once my level and progress reverted. Overall I really enjoy this game for the accurate the app engines. Thank you! Jeff

First, the locomotives should stay with the country they are from - we should see British locomotives in Britain, German in Germany, US in the US, etc. It doesn‘t seem authentic when there is a mix of locomotives that would not have been historically used in a given country. Second, the layouts are not always efficient. Some trains take longer to visually complete the task, yet the task is already done. There are some wye intersections missing. Some curves are so tight, that it looks like the articulated locomotives will collide with another the app. Third, with the new delivery competitions (Business person with the most keys over a set time period), it seems that some people may be purchasing (with actual monetary funds) aids to help them. This is not fair to those of us purposefully playing with out such cheating. Please have a separate competition if possible for us really hard working players.
Little too needy

Compared to the original TrainStation in my situation this game is a little too needy, the addition of a route planner where you could set each the app to go to multiple locations would remedy this. I do enjoy the game but I’ve got a 5 year old and a job, if I could set the trains to go multiple places so I could come back every 10 mins instead of every 30 seconds or minute. That would make it so I could make more progress in turn making the game more enjoyable. But I’m doing like one level a day that’s pretty boring In my opinion. I’m not say don’t download it, I’m not saying that at all. I’m saying if you have a busy life, progress will be slow. Hopefully they add a route planner and I can change this review to 5* also being able to pay the ships to transport trains between countries over a non-ridiculous amount of time would be a cool feature

This is a great freemium game! No doubt about it! However, it is SO unstable, (20 crashes to desktop for every German the app successfully dispatched), that I am going to put it on the shelf for a while. Three events ago, their other rock solid game, Seaport, was infected with instability issues. I suspect that it is related to data transmission speed, with WiFi hotspot in a 2 bar location rendering progress impossible. Devs initially responded, but now they ignore me, and act stupid. Some parts of the game work as expected, so it is possible to fix problems. The last update fixed at least ONE crash bug, as I could then play as long as 5 minutes afterwards, (iOS, latest release, iPad, etc.). Hint: don’t grab the gold right away! The game is “slightly” more stable if the gold in the cities is still available! No idea why! I will be more than happy yo upgrade this review to 5 stars, when, or if, they solve the bugs.
