This is a super well well made app! I have been looking for something to help get more proficient with reading in Spanish and this setup is awesome! The UI of the app is really simple and clean. I am super glad I ran into this app on Product Hunt! I look forward to seeing how this app develops!

I LOVE this app. It’s awesome. It would work for English learning Spanish or for Spanish learning English. It shows you the English and Spanish on the same page, so you can compare them on the spot, and it only shows one or two sentences at a time, so you can figure out exactly what corresponds with what - My favorite part is that unlike a bunch of the language learning apps, the Spanish is really just the Spanish version of the book, so what you’re reading is what actual Spanish people would read, far more helpful for the real world outside of a classroom. (Like the English might be “I shall see you soon” but the Spanish will be “nos veremos pronto”, which isn’t 1:1 but is what people would actually say). I think actually it’s just one or two developers that are bilingual and translating all these books themselves, which is amazing. Also super great - You can click a word to see its translation (e>s or s>e), which is really helpful when I’m not quite sure what something in Spanish says or when I’m trying to guess at my own translation before looking but don’t have all the vocab. I also love this app because when I’m too tired or lazy to work on Spanish, it’s still just a book on my phone! I’m just reading Sherlock Holmes right now. And, there are currently no ads (fingers crossed) and there’s no registration required, both of which are the two reasons I’ve uninstalled literally every other Spanish/English book app. It’s just free, simple, and great. I seriously love this app!
