Install Tap Tempo - Menu Bar app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Tap Tempo on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Tap Tempo"
- The search will reveal the Tap Tempo - Menu Bar app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Tap Tempo is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Tap Tempo.

OK but irritating

I need a simple program like this app to quickly analyze BPMs of songs I come across, but the program, although adequate, has some really annoying features. Every single time I launch the app it asks me if I want to "conflgure this app to launch on login?" It won't take "no" for an answer. And then, I have to click through yet another screen on how to use the program. Every. Single. Time. For the 175th time, I've got it! If it would just shut up and work I would give it a higher rating.

It cumbersome to press ctrl and click at the same time, especially if you are playing keyboards. Why can't it be only a simple press and preferences to be ctrl click accessible?

I love this app because I'm used to needing my cell phone and my computer to put together a playlist for class. Now I just need the tapper on my menu bar and it reads so quickly and accurately!

Simple, straightfoward, just not entirely accurate

I've used many this app tools and this one just isn't that accurate. Something about the way it's summing taps over time is leading it to be off by 1-2 bpm every time. Every other this app tool I use gets it right, but this one is always slightly off.
