Download and install SimpleRockets 2 on your Laptop or Desktop computer

If you want to install and use the SimpleRockets 2 app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type SimpleRockets 2 in the search bar and press Search. Click on SimpleRockets 2application icon. A window of SimpleRockets 2 on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use SimpleRockets 2 for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Easily share crafts and saved games with the community. Included are 17 different challenges to put your creations to the test. Build crafts by snapping parts together. Choose from the pre-built engines, such as the Mage, which is a powerful kerosene-fueled engine. Or choose the very weak, but highly efficient Ion Engine. Or you can dig deeper into the complexity of rocket science and design your own rocket engines. Choose from the eight available engine types, seven nozzles, and six fuel types. From there you can change engine size, nozzle length, throat radius, and more. Use interstages to split your craft into multiple stages and piece together modular fairings to protect your precious cargo. Launch multiple crafts into orbit. You can dock with your existing crafts to build space stations, moon bases, refueling stations, etc. Resize and reshape fuel tanks, wings, cargo bays, fairings, and nose cones with easy-to-use tools that help you create exactly what you want. Resize solar panels, wheels, pistons, shocks, etc to fit your needs. Paint your craft custom colors and tweak their reflectiveness, emissiveness, and texture styles. Orbits are realistically simulated and support time-warp so you don't have to wait several months to reach another planet. The Map View makes it easy to see your orbits and plan future burns, which you can use to set up future encounters with other planets or satellites. The flight model dynamically updates drag and lift characteristics of your craft as it changes. Re-entry effects kick in when you're screaming through an atmosphere at hypersonic speeds. Be careful, because the excessive heat can cause those aforementioned rapid unplanned disassemblies. Download from a huge collection of user-uploaded crafts and sandboxes on our website. Upload your own crafts and sandboxes and share them with the community. Rise through the ranks from a white level builder to a gold level builder and beyond. • Fantastic, well worth the $5

    by Bmcclory155
I personally am a huge fan of space simulators. I started back in late 2014 with a simple indie game that went by the name of Simplerockets. I shared it with my 5th grade elementary school friends and we got hooked. We spent hours emailing each other our newest save file to get another to add a new module to a space station, or a satellite in a far out planet. Now in my sophomore year of high school, I sent this game to them and they were ecstatic. We all preordered the game and so far are enjoying the game more than the original. I personally have been following the games progress, and have beta tested both the PC and Mobile versions and loved every second of it, and I hope to love the rest of it as well. The game looks beautiful on both platforms, and allows you to be creative in a way you just can’t in other games. I love everything you’ve done Jundroo, and best hopes to your future endeavours.
  • Better than KSP!

    by Trainboy2520
First of all what can I say, kudos to the developers for porting this over to mobile and still having it look just as beautiful as it does on the PC. And second, holy crap! This game is so much better than KSP! The physics are better, I absolutely love the customizable parts! And you can build an exact working replica of any rocket from history easily! Even better you can customize the engines to work better and certain altitudes which adds just that much more realism! Oh and I forgot! The planes! You literally get simple planes along with simple rockets in this game! And due to the combination you can build your dream single state to orbit space craft! Now if they were to add more things in the future I think what would probably be best would be even more parts and utilities, parts for space stations, and aircraft cockpits.
  • Great, needs work.

    by Sean Schuler
Great concept and somewhat great execution. Flying the rockets are fun and the controls are user friendly. Building it though? Not so much. Sometimes the camera bugs out, depending on the size of the rocket. Clipping and the touch assist controls are a little clunky and too complicated to use in unison with the right side menu. Remember, your finger takes up a part of the screen, so making it difficult to select certain things because the right side menu is so big and the camera controls are a little wonky is very hindering though. Would love to see this game become more user friendly though!!! 4/5
  • Incredible sim, but crashes

    by Loren Railsback
First off I want to say I have been playing Andrew Garrison’s games for what seems like a decade now, and they are always perfect. This one is no exception. It is a masterpiece of a sandbox game, and the amount of graphics options make me a a PC gamer extremely satisfied. Having an HDR setting for my 11 Pro Max was really cool to see. I literally only have one problem, and that is the game crashes every minute, no exaggerating. I tried turning settings down, turning resolution and refresh rate down, but nothing is fixing it. I can’t even try to reach another planet because the game crashes and loses my spot. It’s really disappointing but the game is brand new and I’m certain it will be fixed relatively soon. I can’t wait to see how the game really plays. Thanks for developing such great games Jundroo.
  • Probably the best Rocket app on the App Store

    by mutant monster from mars
It’s not that often that I get blown away by an app, but this does it. 100% worth $5. This app has ENDLESS designing possibilities, very smooth gameplay, and most of all, detail. The controls are very easy to learn. Building rockets are also very easy to learn. You can make the smallest details with every part available. There are so many easy-to-use, precise, and creative tools to use. Also, the community is very good. You can download any rocket uploaded from the community, and make an account to upload your ideas. Every single thing about this app is amazing. There are some things that are hard to understand in the app, but hey! It’s rocket science! I would recommend this app to ANYONE who likes space, science, and of course, rockets!
  • It’s crazy it’s on mobile!

    by DavidTheReviewer45
I’ve played simpleplanes for a long time and when I heard of SimpleRockets 2 I got really excited. Sure it took awhile, but once it was on mobile I pre-ordered it and I can say it’s great. I haven’t messed around with it too much yet but it seems to do everything it can do on the computer and I know it can only get better from here. Certainly their is room for improvement and refinement but if you’re looking for a real space game on iOS that’s 3D, you can go to different planets and build your own crafts, not to mention the many crafts I’m sure will appear with the mobile app, this is the only real not a scam game you can get. It can only get better from here and I can tell the development team at Jundroo will continue to do a great job.
  • Great Game (I mean the best game ever!)

    by BobaFett4516
I have been awaiting this game for a while now on mobile. I love playing kerbal space program and have always wanted a mobile version. This game is exactly that. Thank you to all of the developers that put in hard work to get this game to mobile. It has been my most wanted game and I am not disappointed. I know a lot of people are calling the game ComplicatedRockets, but the point of this game is to have more real life physics and a real rocket building experience. If you are not into putting time into the game to figure the game (and physics) out then don’t buy the game and hate on it. Overall, this is the best game ever and don’t listen to people who are hating on the game.
  • Still needs some work but is still great and can only get better

    by Good game 645726
The game just came out today so it is definitely not finished. A few things that would be nice are being able to move around burn nodes, set burns right on the apoapsis/periapsis better textures on parts, and some kind of fuel pipe that can move fuel to other tanks like in ksp (I forget what they called it). I like how there are less parts that you can do a lot more with compared to kerbal or SimpleRockets 1, but it does have rotators and hinges which are not in the other 2 and definitely a plus. They both together give you a lot more freedom. Also, the menu screen looks pretty cool. Overall it is great
  • It’s fun but I think there could be more interactions

    by Hersheys1156
What I loved about simple rockets 1 is the interaction you could have with the space station. It felt like there was a purpose of building it and adding new modules to it and making sure to keep enough and air. Building stations across the galaxy and building them was really fun. I feel like now it’s really just building rockets and launching them. Maybe put a rover on another planet but that’s it. You can’t mine or start a base or anything. There’s no pull factor if that makes sense. The game is great though, just wish there was more objectives then just landing on planets. (:
  • Jundroo is a genius

    by Rugg Burn
This game, like most of Jundroo’s games, makes me feel like a frickin nerd and I love it. Definitely room to add a lot more features and make some tweaks, but VERY impressive considering that it was just released. I’ve been a fan of this developer’s games/sims for quite some time, and this one seems to be the most in-depth and complex one of all. Parts are VERY customizable, however the developer did a great job on not making you feel overwhelmed by all the options available. Definitely not for everybody because of its complexity, but a top notch simulator for sure.
