1. Backgammon involves a combination of strategy and luck and, whilst the dice may determine the outcome of a single game, the better player will accumulate the better record over a series of many games.

2. It is a two player game where playing pieces are moved according to the roll of dice.

3. With each roll of the dice, players must choose from numerous options for moving their checkers and anticipate possible counter-moves by the opponent.

4. The dice are rolled by clicking on the dice button and checkers are moved by dragging them with your finger.

5. The objective is to remove (bear off) all of your own checkers from the board before your opponent can do the same.

6. Back-Gammon is more-or-less identical to the traditional board game.

7. A player wins by removing all of their pieces from the board before their opponent.

8. Backgammon playing pieces are known generally as checkers or pips.

9. A 20 second timer can be enabled by touching the menu button on the red bar at the bottom right of the board and changing the settings.

10. At the beginning of each game the checkers are set to predetermined positions.

11. As the game progresses they may be blocked or hit by the opponent.
