If you want to install and use the Matchington Mansion app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Matchington Mansion for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Matchington Mansion for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Matchington Mansion in the search bar and press Search. Click on Matchington Mansion application icon. A window of Matchington Mansion on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Matchington Mansion icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: Matchington Mansion for Mac OS

  • Could be great, but...

    By JediKKnight
Overall I have been enjoying the game, but the levels are getting too hard. I know what needs to happen to clear a level, but I don’t get the right pieces to do it. I’m on day five for trying to beat my current level - and it’s getting too frustrating. I playing many of these types of games, and I’ve played them a long time and reached really high levels... but I don’t see getting to do that with the amount of times it takes to beat a level. Using the extra bombs and tools rarely helps the way you need it b3cause you can’t choose when to add it to your game, so it gets wasted. Please give more moves so I can keep playing, or I don’t see me staying much longer. Also, can you give us more choice about where we transform and decorate. I’ve been outside forever, and would really rather be inside. If, as your other reply to reviews is an imperative for your game, that the story line is an equally important part of the game, then I go back to my first request plus one more. Give us more moves and for levels that are supposed to be hard, give us more than one star so we can move on more quickly from the parts we are getting bored with. Or perhaps, let us purchase stars, I’d do that before I buy coins again, as the bombs and such are costly and not as helpful as when you purchase such things in other games. Thanks for reading!
  • Please stop making me play with the cat!

    By writerle
This game was fun at first. The levels were challenging, but not impossible. However, now that I'm up to level 75, the game is getting quite frustrating. Some levels are so difficult that you either have to play for days before you get a passable board or purchase lots of coins in order to buy power ups or extra moves. Then, once you finally do clear a level, you get a pathetic 30-50 coins (meaning you have to pass dozens of levels just to purchase one power up) and 1 star. Worst of all, after decorating the initial rooms, almost all of your tasks involve answering the door or playing with the cat. Seriously, I've wasted 10 coins in a row doing nothing but getting the cat yarn to play with, rescuing it from the suit of armor, buying it shampoo, and giving it a bath. And none of these tasks are optional. I haven't decorated anything in days, which is what I downloaded the game for in the first place! I see lots of complaints about this in the reviews, but judging by the developer's responses, it doesn't seem like they are addressing the problem. I will probably delete the game soon since, frankly, I hate cats and the game is quite simply boring at this point. Add edit: Another issue: I have contacted customer support several times to report an issue, and there is never a response. This game doesn't seem to receive any developer support at all.
  • It’s a cute game but...

I really like the basic story line and I’m sure it will be fleshed out as the game moves forward. I’ve just started the game and have found that 500 coins for the extra moves at the end of a game just doesn’t weigh out with the amount of coins you win. I think the highest coins I’ve won has been somewhere around the 50 or 60 range but average is 30 to 40. That said, I do think this game has many possibilities. I love the matching and decorating. I think maybe some more detail in the actual mansion rooms would be nice. I love the cat so maybe (and I’m not a game developer/programmer) there could be a little more interaction between the cat and the girl AND the person playing? Just a thought. I like to play to relax but I do like a challenge. Even in the beginning levels of the game there are some challenges that are not easy to win on your first, second or even fifth tries. So my only other advice would be to make the harder levels a smidge easier. Of course it’s easy for me to play ‘armchair quarterback’ because I’m not a game developer/programmer and I don’t know the intricacies of how to make the game ‘work’. I do know that I am constantly awed at how far games have come in the last 20 years and I really do enjoy MM. Thanks for reading. Maybe I’ll update as I get higher in the levels :-)
  • Great Game!!!

    By Teri0215
I’m not much into games, but I love this one and I’m very addicted to it! I used to play Gardenscapes which is very similar to this game, but I quickly got tired of not being able to win the matching levels. The games were next to impossible to complete, sometimes took a week to get through just one level and I’d get very frustrated and was always tempted to delete the game. Then the tasks got to be ridiculously redundant, they got to be for very minute details and you’d rarely get the opportunity to landscape the gardens. Isn’t that supposed to be the goal of these types of games? I went on a search for a replacement game and found Matchington Mansion!!! As you go through the levels, they become more of a challenge. Sometimes you can get stuck on a level and it will take a day or so to complete, but they are WIN-ABLE! Some levels are hard, some very hard, but then you also get some relief as a few levels are a bit easier but always a challenge. It’s a perfect combination and I don’t feel frustrated when I’m done playing, and with this game, I always want to come back for more!!! Matchington Mansion is the best of this type of game that’s available to play!!!

  • Fun at first

This is a fun game at first but after decorating one room, the puzzle becomes so challenging that you’re stuck unless you spend money or send FB notes to friends. Not fun.

  • Too difficult to be fun

Started out great, but slowed to a crawl. Deleted it. Not worth the time and effort.
  • More fun

Allow leftover turns to rollover. Make it ossicle to spin to acquire extra lives. Tag team or call for help options added please. 5 lives aren’t enough so leftover turns can also be converted to lives. Otherwise LOVE IT, it just takes long to complete a level
  • Fun at first, but very frustrating.

Fun at first, but very frustrating. You are totally at the game’s mercy as to which pieces they choose to give you. And when you actually buy more coins, you aren’t even allowed to control how the fireworks, etc are used. So, you can end up spending lots of money and could even play one level dozens of times before the game decides to throw you a bone and let you win the level.
  • Enjoyable!

Great game and a lot of features. It’s great to discover and I feel it doesn’t hold back level wise. My only gripe, and none of their games have offered this, is that when you win an x amount of free time, it doesn’t stop when you pause or turn the game off. Would be total 5 star if it allowed that, but I understand monetarily, why they don’t! Great work and I still like it better than gardenscapes or homescapes!

I really like this game but I have been at a stand still, in one level, for what seems like a month or more. Some of these levels are stupid hard. I am ready to move on now! And, yeah. I like the story line but really started the game to decorate and would love being able to do that over answering the door or playing with the cat or whatever other tasks you make up. I feel I do that more then anything else.
  • Good game but...

This is a fun game but it sometimes takes a long time to pass some levels and it eats up a lot of time and/or money if your willing to purchase lives. I like a challenge but I’m not a fan of getting frustrated and stuck in the game.
  • Should be fun but isn’t.

    By Skatie11
This game should be fun but you spend so much time playing the same levels over and over again. It’s not an easy game and it takes for every. I don’t feel like I am accomplishing enough for this to be fun.
