  • Great app, just not for me.

    By rsd22 (Pcmac user)

I am a the app app junkie. My folder of the app apps on my phone is overflowing. My favorite is hello the app which I happily subscribe too for $4.99. But hello doesn’t have feels like temps in the hourly forecast. I still subscribed minus a feels like in futures hours. the app up shows that data which so why I was so excited when I stumbled on this app. I do a lot outside so it’s critical I can see the “feels like” temp 3 hours or so from now. At first I was ready to subscribe to the app up until it was time to get the dogs outside at 9p. the app up said the feels like temp was 16. So I bundled up ready to brave the cold. Much to my surprise it wasn't cold at all. I opened another the app app and the swing was a wild 20 degrees higher. As much as I cringe at the $9.99 annual fee (rather high for a minimalist the app app) this app needs to have other the app providers to choose from (like hello the app). If they do I’d be inclined to subscribe. Though $5.00 is more where I see this app but I’m an old Man that still doesn’t get the whole subscribe stuff. Great app to add to my the app collection but I wait patiently for an update that brings more providers since the current app provider (whoever that might be?)does not work in my neck of the woods. :-(
  • On its way to being the best weather app available!

    By Larry.McJ (Pcmac user)

I have paid subscriptions to the top three the app apps, yet I prefer the simplicity of the app Atlas. The developer of this app has obviously noticed the need for a great the app app that does only that. No videos, no pictures, no the app commentary, no references to anything except just the the app... done right. I do hope they will soon incorporate a "Future Radar" feature. Current and future radar are all that matter in a the app app...no one cares about where the rain was an hour ago. The developer says that as soon as this feature is available from their information provider, they will add it to the app Atlas. That’s all anyone can ask for. Impressively, the app Atlas opens and immediately shows the two most important things to me, the local map at the top and the hourly forecast at the bottom. And from there it's only one tap to any other place you want to go. Also, even in the ad-supported version, the app Atlas doesn't make you scroll through a bunch of the app-related pictures and videos to finally see the radar and other components (like The the app Channel does, even for their paid subscription). Great start to what I think will evolve into a really great the app app.
  • Widgets need work

    By topherMario33 (Pcmac user)

I love the UI of this the app app. The only thing keeping me from using this app as my go to is the horrible widgets. I don’t want/need 3 widgets, that’s just poor design to me. Just make one that shows me pertinent information at a glance and expands to show an hourly forecast. Give me the current temperature, the app conditions icon, wind speed and precipitation chances at a glance and I’m happy. I can tap into the app if I want more information. The UI of the current daily & hourly widgets don’t even fit in the box and there’s no option to expand. Seriously not sure why such thought was given to the app and the widgets were kind of just thrown together. I will not renew my subscription if this is not addressed.
  • Dark mode great! Icons, not so much.

    By Track 40 (Pcmac user)

Dark mode looks great!... except for the icons. All of the icons (esp. Classic) all need to be edited and saved with transparency. As they are now, the icon files were saved against whit backgrounds... so when you turn on Dark Mode, all of the icons have white halos around them, and they look terrible. I hope this gets sorted out because I just bought a subscription and while the icons look flawless in the standard white background, they need much love for me to even turn on dark mode.
