Backgammon Review

I have played 36 games thus far and conquered the first 4 locations. I was expecting the difficulty level to increase as I unlocked new locations but that is seeming to not be the case. The computer makes ridiculously stupid moves making the difficulty of this game so easy it is almost impossible to loose. The difficulty needs to be increased or at least have a difficulty setting where the user can change it themselves. I like the different boards for each location and the dice you win for conquering them. It would be nice if you could move both dice in a single move rather than having to move each dice individually. I know this is a new app and I’m giving the benefit of the doubt and hoping it will turn into something more fun as backgammon is part of my heritage and I love it!

I hadn’t played Backgammon in many years when I came across this app. I was able to pick the game back up with ease and I think the app is awesome. I am at a loss for where all the bad reviews are coming from. Are the bad reviews for a different app or something? I haven’t experienced any of the problems they’re complaining about. You can double and whatever else you want to do in Backgammon and the graphics are quite stunning on the game boards and the animation is top notch. Great app! Keep em coming!

I had been playing backgammon using the wildcard app for many years when they decided to change it back in September 2018. They didn’t change it for the better. I didn’t think it could have gotten any worse until I saw this new app. This new app is, by far, a million times worse than when they messed with the app last year. Why did the developers feel the need to fix or change something that wasn’t broken and didn’t need changing? Why didn’t they just leave well enough alone? Why didn’t they have the foresight to ask the users of their app if we wanted a change? The developers broke this great game instead of making it better. There’s no way I will use this new app.
