Awful, hopeless, ruined my evening....

I'd spent the evening trying to find a simple, honest photo editor that could resize, crop and rotate. Nothing more. I didn't want 1000 filters or 500 insane effects, I just wanted RC&R.
I downloaded this app anxious to see if it would live up to the promised specs. After recovering from the simply appalling entrance interface, I loaded a photo, tried the crop...... Bang, the screen froze, the entire iPad became unresponsive, forcing me to have to shut everything down, start again, remove this pitiful piece of nonsense and continue my search.
I am absolutely furious at the frustration this has caused and can only hope that Apple will lease do a more thorough job of vetting apps before they get into the App Store. Everything I've seen and tried this evening has been a crock of codswallop!
