  • Very Glitchy

    By TravelingTex (Pcmac user)

I really enjoyed playing this game in Solo mode, in both Survival and Creative. That was until it would not launch a world I was playing in. Every time I got to the point where I built “too much” and exited the game, it would never launch the world again. It would sit on the loading screen for an hour and still not launch the world. Why should I even both with this game if I can only play it so far before I have to start all over again from scratch? I’m glad it was free to download. While I did not waste any money, I did waste a bunch of time that I will never get back. In addition to that, chunks of the map would disappear and I would not be able to cross. I would have to travel around those empty chunks to get to the other side. While this is annoying on the surface, it is amplified underground. I dug a tunnel, was running out of pickaxes, turned around and started back tracking through my perfectly straight tunnel only to find that one of those empty gaps manifested itself right in my path. I then had to start digging my way around it. In the end, I’m not thuroughly impressed. If these glitches were to be fixed I would give it 5 stars. As it is, I cannot give it more than two. And two stars is being generous due to the unplayability of the game.
  • HONEST REVIEW

    By WhoIsAdrian (Pcmac user)

I'm here as a fan, not hater. Version 4.8.2 that came out a day ago freezes up if you try to enter ANY of the worlds on Mac OS (private, rentable, survival, renewable, etc). The only way I can get out of the game is by force quitting the program. So now I can't even get into a world. My Macbook is new and up to date. It's definitely the app of Cubes. And just like World of Cubes, my trackpad acts up in your game. When I tap the trackpad to add a block, nothing happens, a few seconds later the game automatically starts destroying blocks instead without me no longer touching my computer and the only way I can stop this is by moving the avatar around. Also the battery heats up a lot! Never did before. I never have other programs open on my computer, no live wallpaper, and caches are deleted. I don't mean for this to come off rude, I'm genuinely a fan, but do you guys test your updates before you put them out the public? Because bother the app of Cubes and World of Cubes are now at a point where me and other people I know who play can get on because of these same issues. And like my World of Cubes review, I will gladly put this at a 5 star rating once things are fixed. Perhaps focus on the backbone more than the shiny parts of your games. I’m rooting for SolverLabs.
  • Fun but glitchy

    By T15hmar13 (Pcmac user)

I most ly play the offline versions. Survival mode started lagging (before I’d even built a bunker to hide in and craft tools), to the point that I would die ten seconds after loading the world. I abandoned that. Creative mode is pretty cool, but YOU HAVE TO SAVE EVERY 30-40 BLOCKS (created or destroyed). And the only way to save is to exit your world and reload it. But you can’t just back out and get back in quickly, you have to wait five seconds for it to settle. If you don’t do this … You get to stare at the loading screen for hours and will never see your beautiful, 4-story castle with a floating garden ever again. It’s rather annoying. (I just refuse to pay MS $30 for the non-glitchy game.)
  • Amazing game but...

    By HashSlingingSlasher62 (Pcmac user)

I love this game. My friends and I play it all the time and we think its amazing but things like the weapons/tools could look a little more like their icons and I think signs would be a good addition and also how come it takes 6 blocks to make 1 stair, which makes it harder to make more detailed buildings out of stone and nether brick. Really love the game and I look forward to further updates.
