Buggy but 100% worth it
By lfrench94 (Pcmac user)
I’ll get the negative part over quickly - the app is buggy at times, sometimes crashes, sometimes doesn’t seem to register strokes correctly. However I firmly feel that this app is the best I’ve found so far for learning kanji and I don’t regret paying to unlock all the lessons, especially as it is updated very frequently and the developer seems very responsive to feedback. If I find I’m having a frustrating problem to the point it makes me not want to using the app for a while, I simply send my feedback and more likely than not there will be an update within a day that when installed fixes the problem. It may not be perfect but I honestly can’t imaging learning the volume of kanji I have so far without this app. I’m taking the JLPT N5 in December and I have no fear when it comes to any kanji on the test because of how well this app has taught me. In summary, it’s worth paying for all the lessons, and don’t get too frustrated if you encounter bugs because they’ll likely be patched out soon!

Very best app for learning Kanji
By Bebe Soft (Pcmac user)
This app is amazing, it is everything that I could have asked for in learning Kanji. I have purchased books, but staring at white sheets of paper and dealing with erasing and mistakes is quite annoying. Besides that, who wants to carry around drawing books to work or wherever else. This app is perfect because now you can the app to draw the Kanji and it makes you review previous lessons so you don’t forget. It’s on your phone so there are no drawbacks of portability, erasing, or buying new paper, plus you can take it anywhere with you and practice on the train, uber, or anywhere else. This is a very well put together app and the perfect tool for learning on the fly. The only problem that I can point out is that the pronunciations are inaccurate computerized readings. They should probably work on that.

Feedback matters
By Yuukipon (Pcmac user)
This a great product also recommend the hiragana one. Normally i have a hard time remembering things in this case i had issues with katakana and was learning kanji i saw advertisement from the other app and gave it a try it works well despite some glitches with the writing on some lessons luckily i was able to skip them and left some feedback explaining the broken kanji in the lesson preventing me from completing it. To my surprise the issue was fixed surprisingly quickly looking at update history i can see this happens frequently. Any developer who fixes reported bugs in a timely manner is a keeper and reaffirms that purchasing products from this developer is a wise investment

Kanji is hard. This app is easy!
By AngryBigSister (Pcmac user)
As long as you don’t rush it, you can use this to memorize Kanji easily. Don’t continue until you know you have one set down. This app let’s you review all you’ve learned and will continue bringing up any kanji you’ve struggled with until you get it every time.
I can’t stress this enough, don’t do every lesson at once. That won’t help you. I suggest doing 3-5 lessons a week depending on your learning abilities. That way you won’t overload your list of review words before you are ready.
Other than that, this app is worth 5 stars.
