What is Barcode Server?

Barcode Server is a Mac app that receives data from the Barcode Professional iPhone app. The iPhone app reads barcodes and sends decoded data to the Mac via local area network. The data is copied to the Mac pasteboard, allowing users to paste it into their favorite software. The app also allows users to add an extra TAB or ENTER key after the received data, eliminating the need for manual pasting of barcode data.

Software Features and Description

1. You can install Barcode Server app on multiple Macs and select from the iPhone app where to send the data to.

2. After a barcode is detected, the decoded data will be sent to the Barcode Server app and copied to the Mac clipboard.

3. The iPhone app reads barcodes and send decoded data to the Mac via local area network.

4. This app has the only purpose to receive data from "Barcode Professional" iPhone app.

5. Configure the app to use a Barcode Server, the list of available Barcode Servers network names will be shown.

6. If the connection from the iPhone app to the Mac app is estabilished, Barcode Server app will turn green.

7. You can now paste the data into your favourite software (store management software, web search engine, etc.) .

8. Copy data to clipboard: App will copy received data to Mac pasteboard.

9. Beep when data is received: App will sound when data is received.

10. The Mac network name will be shown in the top bar.

Install Barcode Server app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Barcode Server on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Barcode Server"
The search will reveal the Barcode Server app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Barcode Server is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Barcode Server.
Now enjoy Barcode Server on PC.
