This game is fun, each story interesting and different, each the app and/or ninja having a different personality appealing to masses but still each one have something gratifying and loving about them making every story worth playing even if you wouldnt match well, but there is one big problem if you dont have money im going to spare you some time and tell you to go ahead and take your eyes off this, its impossible to finish even one story without in-app purchases it feels, especially if you want portraits. Most in-app purchases also arent nearly worth it 1 pearl costs around 99¢ which would be more understandable to me if it was 3-5 but its a whole 99¢ for ONE which in game can get you about an onigri and a kick in the teeth. Also coins cant really get you anything maybe some accessories but thats about it and i have no closet space anyways bc it cost pearls to expand closet space so i basically have useless currency, it would be a whole lot nicer if pearls werent needed for EVERYTHING, you need them to buy outfits to progress the story, you need them them to expand your closet, you need them for when you run out of energy in cooking class, you get the drift. If half the things in this game that needed pearls could use coins it would be a lot more playable. It's a very fun game but if your not ready to get bleeded dry i woundnt waste the time, too bad im already emotional and financially invested in this game ://

I’ve tried other otome apps but have yet to find any that can compare to Slbp! The art style is incredible, the stories captivating and even free to play players can participate, enjoy and win awesome prizes from special events! The developers have made the app so you can earn the items (pearls in this case) to get the premium ending(s)! Of course if your impatient (like me lol) you can always purchase pearls and chapter tickets with real money but it’s so refreshing that you don’t have too and can still enjoy the story! On the note of purchasable items, I have to give the devs an extra pat on the back for making the price of the purchasable items reasonable!! I’ve bought items on other otome apps but they are jarringly expensive for what you need and can easily become a money pit and they pale in comparison to what slbp’s premium content actually contains! I’ll stop rambling but seriously give Slbp a try you’ll love it! Happy reading! ♥️♥️♥️

I would give it a 5 star because the story is amazing and I love it. However the fact that I have to use tickets to keep playing and it takes too much to continue playing is making me question if it’s worth it. Over $40 spent on one character doesn’t seem right. I prefer back when you spent a set price on a character to unlock their story like $20 for one character and there were like 8 or 12 characters was brilliant. I don’t mind dropping $100 or a bit more on all the characters first story arc. Spending around $200 for everything and paying around $20 per extra story when holiday hits seems like a real way to go. I really hate how I keep getting interrupted from the story. It takes away from my experience and makes me lose interest. Also the fact that I uninstall the app and lose everything seems so stupid to me. There’s a memory bank for a reason. So idk if this is worth it. The story is great but not for that price. I’ll stick it out a little longer but if I have to spend more than $40 for a single character I’ll stop playing.

By far one of the best games I've ever played on an iPhone. This game is always entertaining and I love the constant events! The writing is incredible, far better than any other otome game I've played, and the characters are all super unique and have deep, well constructed personalities. I love how you also get to learn about history through playing this game. The outfits, makeup, and hair are so cute, and I love seeing them on my sengoku princess ^^ The only thing keeping this game from a perfect score is the uselessness of coins. They're not really useless obviously, but I have almost 200,000 right now and I haven't even been playing for very long! You can use them for castle lotteries, in the store, and during events, but besides that, you don't get to use them very often. The opposite is true for pearls: you don't earn them very quickly, and they are far more precious. It would be wonderful if you could convert coins to pearls, such as 20,000 coins equals one pearl. But besides this, a really wonderful game. I highly recommend it!
