Software Features and Description

1. PLEASE READ below for a list of supported features (especially Zik 1 owners).

2. - "Flight mode" and "Text to Speech" ON / OFF (Zik 2.0 / 3).

3. - Demo mode to test the application without possessing the headphone.

4. Zik 1 owners, please do note again that the Zik 1 support is _VERY_ limited and will _NOT_ look like the screenshot.

5. - "Head detection" and "Auto connection" ON / OFF (Zik 1 / 2.0 / 3).

6. Please resize the app in a "landscape" ratio to have the same results as the screenshot.

7. HOWEVER if you have a Zik 1, as specified in the features above, only a few things are supported.

8. An unofficial native manager for the Parrot Zik headphones range (1 / 2.0 / 3).

9. - Spatialization / Concert Hall (Zik 1 / 2.0 / 3).

10. If you have a Zik 2.0 or 3, the app will have all (or nearly all) features announced.

11. Furthermore, there is no landscape mode for the Zik 1.

Install Zik Manager app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Zik Manager on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Zik Manager"
The search will reveal the Zik Manager app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Zik Manager is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Zik Manager.
Now enjoy Zik Manager on PC.

Good App for those with a Zik

Using this with my MacBook Pro 13 early 2015 with Yosemite 10.11.2 and it works very well. Most of the functions available on the iOS app are here too. At least the most important. Most handy feature is being able to see the battery percentage. For three dollars its a good app. Only gripe is that it wastes desktop space. Would give it a 5 star rating if it didn’t take so much space. Possible feature enhacnements would be: 1st have it remember the window size and position. Every time it opens it goes to the center of the screen and resets the size. 2nd, have a condenced window that just shows the percentage. There is no need to have dedicated buttons on the main window for Noise Control, Concert Hall and Equalizer. When enlarged its cool to see these but not necessary 100% of the time. 3rd, option to show an icon in the top of the screen next to the date, time battery, etc.. This icon should show the battery percentage. 4th convert it to be a noticacation widget. Again no need to keep it open all the time just to see the battery and this app seems much more useful if it was in the notification panel.
Really? no value add.

A slighly slimmer version version of the iPhone app, which is included with purchase of your $400 headphones. It’s kind of a nifty App. It looks like an early test version of the iphone app. I wouldn’t recomend this. I’d like it if it were free. If Parrot said pay a lot of money for our headphones, that are really awesome! And you’ll get these neat apps for your mac and iphone! I’d be excited. The App license is mine now, so I’ll go to the pro-equalizer and really dial in the sound I want…Oh wait, can’t do that, this $3 app does not include that free iphone app feature. Sweet app, bro.

Works just fine with my Parrot the app 1. Mainly got it to help monitor battery life, and think it’s pretty obnoxious that Parrot doesn’t have their own app for MacOS. My only suggestion for it would be that it would be nice to be able to close the main window but keep the app open in the menu bar to keep an eye on the battery life.

I purchased my headphones about 3 months ago, and they have replaced all my other headphones…great sound and great quality. But charging $3 for an app with this functionality is frankly short sided on someones part…I’m guessing some greedy executive. I’m an executive, and I know how it all works. Trying to force everyone to the mobile app, so charge for what you “don’t” want people to use, or you see low volume. It’s a simple Utility App, don’t let it ruin a great reputation folks!
