Pop up ads during play: NO, THANKS!

I have had this app for some time and enjoyed it, but recently, in the middle of a game, ads start popping up. Look, people, I understand that free isn't free, and I don't begrudge you trying to make a few yen from my playing this "free" game, however, right in the middle of play is not the time for a pop up advertisement to install Twitter (it's free!) - which I have had installed longer than this game! An ad at the end of a level, I can get that.... upon opening, I understand that, too. But right in the middle of play is lazy, greedy and totally the wrong way to get me to click on any of the ad baits for you. Fix it, or lose players. You choose!
Keeps freezing

Like a lot of other reviews, I’ve been playing this game for awhile and usually love it until recently. I understand you need ads and don’t mind waiting for them to finish but since I got a new iPhone 8 when I play the ads pop in middle of game or it freezes. Just this morning, it was freezing in random places. Some ads I can’t see at all where to click exit. So I reinstalled it. Had to start all over, which I don’t mind too much but it didn’t fix the problem. It hardly ever did any of this when I had the iPhone 6. Please fix??!!! Otherwise I’m done.

I too, have played this game for years. I thought it started freezing because I was playing on a second edition iPad. But, reading the reviews, I now have another opinion. Recently loaded it on my Pro and hate the fact that even when the game sound is turned off, it doesn’t mute the game. Very annoying. I have to muted the iPad instead which is a drag!
